New Resources and Services
Your Library was Out & About this summer at The
Common Ground with books available for borrowing
and there are plans to continue this new service during
the year. Watch for our table at school meetings and
local events!
MANY THANKS!!!
A monetary donation was received from the
members of the Sayville High School Class of
1953, who celebrated at a 60th reunion.
Local Authors highlighted – in response to a
notable increase in writers on Long Island, we have
created a “Local Authors” Collection, which includes
Sayville and Long Island authors. Look for it in the
Children’s and Adult Services Departments.

then click on the 3M icon. This service is compatible with Androids, Apple and
Nook devices (unfortunately the list does NOT include Amazon Kindle).

puzzled about where to start? The answer is Literati, available from the library’s
webpage – http://sayvillelibrary.org. Literati will search over 600 reference books
related to your topic, as well as the library’s catalog and journal databases. All
