Burberry Kickoff
To kick-off the 10th anniversary celebration for Give to Colombia, Burberry hosted an instore event on October 10th in Village of Merrick Park. 72 people attended the event;
they enjoyed passed Veuve Clicquot and hors d’ouevres from 7:00pm-10:00pm.
Carole Vargas, Private Clients Manager from New York city hosted the event along with
Susanne Birbragher, Angela Maria Tafur and Eduardo Barco. Guests were able to preview
Burberry’s 2013 fall/winter collection and had a 10% discount on purchases, as well as a
10% of sales to benefit Give to Colombia.

a cocktail hour at which
guests enjoyed an
exhibit featuring
Colombian vintage bills
transformed into
artworks, the highlight
of the party was a
concert by Andres
Cabas. Then came a
three-course dinner
during which Christie’s
auctioneer Steven Zick
led a live auction that
included everything
from a customized
Burberry trench coat to
having the chance to
drive a McLaren 12C
Spider on the track of
the Palm Beach
International Raceway.
