the largest open-air gatronomy village in North
America! In the heart of downtown Montreal,
on Ste-Catherine West Street, between StUrbain and St-Laurent, BOUFFONS!MTL offers
an immersive summer vacation environment
replete with a sand beach, boardwalk, rest &
picnic areas, umbrellas, street entertainers, and
DJs night and day!
For this edition, BOUFFONS!MTL’s village
triples its floor space to offer a culinary
experience richer and more diverse than ever.
Come and meet the chefs that will be on site
throughout the event to make you taste their
signature dishes. BOUFFONS!MTL, it’s also
street food to suit all tastes, wine bars, beer
bars, cocktail bars, wines & spirits experts,
artisan products, a market gardener... and food
trucks, of course!

of tasting at affordable prices. Access to the site and all

Well known for his restaurant La Montée de lait, the innovative Martin Juneau is now the chef and owner of the
renowned Pastaga with his friend Louis-Philippe Breton. In addition to running many projects – such as the cellar
Cul-Sec, the ice cream bar Monsieur Crémeux, and the grocery store Le Petit Coin – Juneau is also the star of several
cooking shows (notably on the Zeste channel). At BOUFFONS!MTL, Martin will be presenting his restaurant/cellar
Cul-sec and his wonderful artisan ice cream bar Monsieur Crémeux.
Carles Abellan is a Michelin-starred chef famous for his creative streak. He studied with the great Ferran Adrià at the
restaurant elBulli in Spain, before revolutionizing the world of tapas. He quickly became the chef and owner of a dozen
restaurants in Barcelona, among them Bravo24 at Hôtel W and La Barra that will open in September 2016. In 2014,
Mr. Abellan opened Tapas, 24, his first restaurant in Montreal, a city he is particularly fond of. At BOUFFONS!MTL, Mr.
Abellan will be present at his tapas bar Tapas, 24 from July 18 to July 23.

Jérôme Ferrer, a Grand Chef Relais & Châteaux, is also a member of the French Culinary Academy, and a Master Cook
of France. This very special guest will most probably win the hearts (and stomachs) of BOUFFONS!MTL visitors once
again with his Europea mobile and his food truck Chez Jerry!
François Chartier, famous creator of harmonies, author, and vintner, is one of the mainstays of BOUFFONS!MTL. His
presence will be both remarkable and inspiring for sure. He will be bringing back his now famous Chartier Wine Bar
and, for this year, in addition to featuring his brand new François Chartier wines, he has selected his favourite products
from his winemaking friends! These wines will be harmonized with tapas from the renowned restaurant Tapas, 24 whose
stand will be “next door” to the Chartier Wine Bar. And let’s not forget Chartier’s dream team of sommeliers, who will be
on site every day, and an appearance by a surprise winemaker.

BOUFFONS!MTL gives you an opportunity to discover everything Montreal’s culinary multiculturalism has
to offer, with specialties from Canada (of course!), Japan, Italy, Vietnam, Mexico, the Caribbean, Spain,

dishes, local products tastings, craft beers, exclusive wines, fresh berries, and luscious ice creams and
