This seminar will discuss the various causes of auto immune diseases including Lyme disease, toxins, parasites and gut infections common in our western world, specialized dietary needs and genetic polymorphisms. Parasitology and dysbiosis is often overlooked in most treatment regimens, even though it can be a very common underlying factor in disease. Gut pathology plus interactions of the immune system can create autoimmune conditions. There are clear interfaces of the gut and neurological functions and the endocrine system as well. Founded by Dr. Satya Ambrose, L.Ac., N.D., The Chitari Foundation is in the planning stages of developing the ÄYZ[VMP[ZRPUKJHTW\Z^OPJO^PSSILOVTL[VHOVSPZ[PJOVZWP[HSHUKSLHYUPUNSHIVYH[VY`HUK^OPJO^PSSKYH^ upon the expertise of practitioners and students from a wide variety of natural healing modalities. One of the chief goals of The Chitari Foundation is to train practitioners and students of natural medicine to become increasingly adept in collaborating with healing practitioners from disciplines other than their own so that they may attain ever more functional clinical outcomes for their patients.
