Welcome to Fiesta Arts Fair at
the Southwest School of Art, San
Antonio’s school for the visual arts.
Artists
Fiesta Arts Fair is a major
highlight of Fiesta® San Antonio
— featuring more than 100 artists
from 29 states and Canada.
You’ll recognize many perennial
favorites, but be sure to welcome the
approximately one-third who are
new to Fiesta Arts Fair this year.

About the school
The Southwest School of Art was founded in 1965
to teach and advance the visual arts.

centers on the process of making as a form of inquiry
and discovery, and includes courses in business,

children a chance to learn to think creatively through
hands-on visual arts opportunities. Programs for
young artists include, with more than 100 week-long
classes for ages 5 – 18; Teen Studio Intensive, an afterschool program for middle and high school students;
and Saturday Morning Discovery, a free introductory
art program for young children. If you get inspired
today, pick up a catalog!
Exhibitions
Always free, and open 7 days a week, our galleries
showcase regionally and nationally recognized
contemporary artists. Be sure to visit the Navarro
Campus galleries before leaving the Fair.
Historic Preservation
The Ursuline Campus — where you are now —
comprises the award-winning historic grounds of the
former Ursuline Convent and Academy, established
in 1851 as San Antonio’s first school for girls and now
listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
