A romantic wedding in a Medieval church
Let the Church of Saints Jacob and Christopher welcome you within the walls of Castel Monastero. A small
masterpiece of Medieval art whose interiors are adorned with 17th century decorations, perfect for a cosy and
intimate wedding service. If there are more than fifty guests your service can be held in the beautiful Romanesque church
of Badia Monastero, one and a half kilometres from the resort, or the church of Saints Giusto and Clemente in
Castelnuovo Berardenga, just a few minutes away from Castel Monastero: this elegant neo-Classical church can
host up to two hundred people.
A civil ceremony in an elegant historic palazzo
If you would like a civil ceremony we suggest the beautiful room in the town hall of Castelnuovo Berardenga in
Chianti, 7 km from Castel Monastero. Another popular setting is the 18th century Villa Chigi, surrounded by an
Italian garden full of superb sculptures and beautiful perspectives, next to a wonderful English park. In both cases,
after the I do’s have been said, the couple have kissed and the rice has been thrown, an unforgettable reception
awaits you at Castel Monastero.
A very personal symbolic ceremony
An extra opportunity for couples who have already celebrated a civil or religious ceremony where they live, but
also for couples who want to renew their vows for an important anniversary. The symbolic ceremony, while not
having any legal or civil validity, is celebrated by a Master of Ceremonies in an alternative location, for example
in the Medieval square of Castel Monastero, In the resort’s gardens, on the private terrace of the Royal Suite with
an enchanting view over the surrounding countryside, in the elegant Sala Ombrone room or in the Villa Gazebo.

and the best Tuscan wine. In the monastery’s 17th century wine cellar you can experience a totally unique
atmosphere with its high vaulted ceilings, stone floor and ancient brick walls. A location suspended in time that
offers the utmost flexibility and creativity with plenty of highly effective solutions, whether it’s a lunch, a dinner or
a buffet, or a wonderful party after the reception.

Sala Ombrone
A warm setting that sits perfectly with the contemporary rustic style of the resort, in an area that can be set up
to meet your wishes and demands. The distinguishing feature of this room is its warm and cosy atmosphere
underscored by the beamed ceilings and parquet flooring; the ideal setting for cocktails and wedding receptions,
as well as bespoke symbolic ceremonies. The room can be accessed directly from outside or through the hotel
lobby, allowing complete independence and freedom of movement.

In this enchanting, snug area the rustic elegance of old Tuscan residences is brightened by the light and air of
the harmonious natural surroundings. This room is the perfect setting for intimate weddings and has a splendid

We can also provide you with contact numbers for professional photographers and video artists, who you can meet before the big day to decide on the details, the moods and your preferences for photo portraits and videos of the most beautiful moments of the ceremony.

A solo singer, a trio of string instruments... just make a wish and we’ll make it come true. We can
put you in touch with expert organisers who will provide memorable music for the ceremony
and reception. And you can dance the night away with a DJ in the beautiful setting of a unique
location: La Cantina.

The rooms at Castel Monastero have outstanding
views of either the Tuscan countryside, the antique
courtyard or the gardens. Rooms vary in size and
all offer the finest details of Tuscan tradition with a
contemporary style and comfort. In all the rooms
guests will find beautiful details of the best of Made
in Italy, from fabrics to sofas. Many rooms have
Terracotta floors and wood beams on the ceilings.
All the rooms have king size beds or two twins
beds, desks, and many have a spacious sitting area
(Prestige and Junior Suite). The large bathrooms are
all in Volcanic stone and many have separate bath
and shower. Many rooms connect and a few have
sofa beds.

De Luxe Rooms are ideal for a couple, with
the possibility of adding a cot. The furnishings
and materials create a warm atmosphere with
their simple Tuscan brightness. Many of the
bathrooms feature a separate bathtub and
shower. Some bedrooms may be connecting.
PRESTIGE – 40/45 sq. mt.
A haven of absolute Tuscan refinement and
elegance, most rooms have a bedroom and small
lounge. It can host up to three guests, with the
addition of a third bed or cot. All of the bathrooms
are fitted with a separate bathtub and shower,
and some also feature a beautiful window.
JUNIOR SUITE – 48/60 sq. mt.
A magnificent environment divided into bedroom
and a lounge. The rustic Tuscan style surrounds
the guests in every detail, with the most refined
materials from wood to terracotta floors. Some
bedrooms may be adjoining or connecting.
EXECUTIVE SUITE – 55/65 sq. mt.

textiles and details decorate every area with
