SA-400 Jackal
SA-400 Jackal
Engineered for heavy payloads and long
endurance, the SA-400 Jackal retains the
versatility and performance of a full-sized
helicopter with the enhanced safety
features of an unmanned aerial system
(UAS).
As an optionally piloted vehicle (OPV), the
SA-400 can be used even before the FAA
presents regulations for integrating UAS
into the national airspace. The vertical
take-off and landing (VTOL) capabilities
make the Jackal suitable for ship-board
operations and missions where runways
are impractical.
With the ability to carry a 100-lb payload
for more than 3 hours, the SA-400 is well
suited for a variety of mission scenarios
including power line inspection, military
insertion & extraction of supplies and
personnel, search & rescue and agriculture.
The SA-400 Jackal is a VTOL UAS that is
highly customizable to suit a wide variety
of mission scenarios.
