As we move into May the local real estate market is as strong as it has been
in many years. Shifting to a Seller’s market is something we have not seen
for a while but a welcome change. If there is a down side, we are
experiencing a lack of inventory for certain price ranges and styles of
homes. As Realtors we need to get the word out that it is a great time to sell
as the buyers are hungry for new homes coming to the market.
Even though your current Board members are busy selling and closing
homes they have been extremely dedicated to their responsibilities to the
Board by attending meetings and providing great input. Jackie has kept
everything organized and running smoothly at the office and I am truly
thankful for these extra efforts to keep the organization strong and moving
forward.
The Sheboygan Falls School District postponed the two information
sessions they were offering to Realtors as there was little interest. Please
consider attending one of these in the Fall when they will be offering this
again. Also check the calendar of events for upcoming opportunities for
education and involvement.
It is an exciting time to be a Realtor, Inspector, Appraiser, Loan Officer, and
Title Examiner. Our schedules will only get busier with graduations, weddings and festivals that start filling our weekends. Take the time to enjoy
the rewards of your hard work.

RPAC COMMITTEE
Purpose: Collecting contributions to support the state and local political office in the State of Wisconsin.
Composition: Chairman (appointed by the President) and an at-large member
Term: One year
Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicate what RPAC is and does
Collect contributions
Coordinate RPAC functions
Promote political awareness and member involvement in the political process on
National, State and Local levels
Attend RPAC training seminar at WRA headquarters.
Perform such other duties as directed by the Board of Directors or the President
ACTIVE WITH OFFER OR PENDING
The MLS Committee has determined that the damages for failure to report
accepted offers within 48 hours of acceptance as either "Pending" or
"Active with Offer" will be $10/day. This is consistent with the Metro MLS
policy.
WB Forms
The Contractual Forms Advisory Committee provides the REEB assistance in reviewing,
modifying and creating the real estate (WB) forms Wisconsin licensees are required to
use. The following forms are currently being revised or will be revised in the near future.
Waiting approval:
The following impending approved forms are anticipated to be approved by the REEB
and have the optional use date of May 1, 2016 and mandatory use date of July 1,
2016.
WB-1 Residential Listing Contract -- Exclusive Right to Sell
WB-42 Amendment to Listing Contract
Currently being revised:
WB-36 Buyer Agency/Tenant Representation Agreement
