Piste wizards and lovers of snow are in their element at the Hoteldorf Grüner
Baum. The winter time is especially idyllic and definitely worth a visit. Whether
you are on skis, snowboard, toboggan or on foot - the sky really is the limit,

Ski course information for the Winter Season
From December 20th until the end of March we have our own ski kindergarden
and ski school directly at Grüner Baum, exclusively for our guests. The skiing
lessons for the smaller children between 3 – 5 years will take place approx. 5
minutes by foot from the hotel (ski kindergarden & animation).
Should you arrive at the hotel later in the week, you will of course be able to
join the skiing lessons that day.
Every Friday at 10:30am, a kids ski race will take place in Dorfgastein.
The kids will be able to have lunch together in the Hotel Grüner Baum between 12 Noon and 1:00pm. (€ 9,00 per person including 1 beverage).
The skiing lesson for the older children also starts at Grüner Baum and will
then, according to ability, continue at Stubnerkogel / Angertal / Dorfgastein.
The ski race will take place every friday in Dorfgastein.
Ski equipment available for rent at Sport Schober (www.sport-schober.at).
For the adults we recommend a private ski instructor for 2-5 hours a day or
why not for a full day, depending on ability.
We kindly ask you to book your skiing lessons directly at the ski school Schischule Angerer (www.skischuledorfgastein-angerer.at).

The skiing lessons start on Sundays and Mondays.

Throughout the entire year, we offer our youngest guests between the ages
