DAY 1 | ROME
Arrival by private car with driver from Rome FCO Airport to Rome Hotel. After checking
in to your centrally-located hotel, you will have ample time to unpack, relax and freshen
up prior to jump starting your visit with an independent stroll through Rome to see the
Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona and many other sites of Baroque Rome.
DAY 2 | ROME
Breakfast
After buffet breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a morning collective tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, where you will have a chance to admire Michelangelo’s recently
restored frescoes. After lunch on your own, your exploration of Rome continues with an
early afternoon collective guided tour of Ancient Imperial Rome, highlighting the Circus
Maximus, the Arch of Constantine, Trajan’s Column, the Roman and Imperial Forums
and an interior visit to the Colosseum.
DAY 3 | ROME
Breakfast
Buffet breakfast at hotel and a full day to explore this cosmopolitan city at your own
pace. Perhaps enjoy a tartufo ice cream in the Piazza Navona or window shop along
Il Corso.
DAY 4 | ROME–POMPEII–NAPLES–MT. VESUVIUS–
AMALFI
Breakfast ] Wine Tasting, Lunch With Wine
Buffet breakfast at the hotel and check out. Private car transfer to Rome Termini Rail
Station. Board your first class high speed train to Naples. Upon arrival, meet your
professional English speaking driver at the head of the track. Transfer to Pompeii, a
once thriving Roman port city buried under molten ash during the Mt. Vesuvius volcano
eruption in 79 AD. Enjoy a private guided walking tour of the excavations site. Proceed
to the slopes of Mt. Vesuvius for a winery visit followed by lunch with wine featuring a
zero kilometer menu (farm to table) with breathtaking views of the Bay of Naples. After
lunch continue to Amalfi, one of the four former Italian Maritime Republics. Check in and
room assignment. Independent dinner and overnight.
DAY 5 | AMALFI/CAPRI/ANACAPRI/AMALFI
Breakfast
Buffet breakfast at hotel and depart for a collective island tour to Capri including motor
boat transportation to the island, local guide service and transportation by mini van to
Anacapri. Late afternoon return to Amalfi for overnight.
DAY 6 | AMALFI
Breakfast
Buffet breakfast at hotel and enjoy a full day at leisure to explore “La Divina Costiera”
at your own pace. We can arrange personalized experiences to further enhance your
vacation, such as cooking classes, mozzarella tasting, kayaking, yacht hire, hiking
and biking.
