For your protection AAA recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical conditions may be waived with proper coverage if travel

FLIGHT
Air arrangements are handled by the tour operator. Seat assignments cannot be confirmed until the tour operator releases names to the
airline 30 days prior to departure. Specific seat requests cannot be guaranteed. Some flight schedules may contain code share agreements.
CLOTHING/CLIMATE
April / May temperatures average in the 70’s with cooler evenings. Pack for a variety of temperatures. Casual clothes that can be layered
work best. Comfortable walking shoes and a small umbrella are recommended.
BAGGAGE
One suitcase per person will be allowed. You may also bring a carry-on bag small enough to fit under your seat. Baggage fees and other
charges may be directly assessed by airlines or airport.
TRAVEL ASSISTANCE
For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally
responsible for providing the needed assistance.

Saturday, April 30, 2016: Rome
This morning you may wish to participate in an optional tour to the magnificent treasures of the Vatican Museums and St.
Peter’s Basilica. Later, we set out on a panoramic tour of Classical Rome featuring the Piazza Venezia, the Roman Forum,
the Circus Maximus, and the Arch of Constantine, followed by an in-depth guided visit to the spectacular Colosseum.
Contemporary Rome is highlighted through the legendary Piazza Navona. (Breakfast)
Sunday, May 1, 2016: Rome - Ravello - Amalfi Coast
Depart Rome and journey south to the Amalfi Coast. En route, ease your way into the local culture as your tour manager
teaches you a few key phrases of the native language. In the picturesque village of Ravello, visit the magnificent gardens of
the Villa Rufolo with its spectacular panorama. Hotel: Raito Hotel, Amalfi (Breakfast, Dinner)
Monday, May 2, 2016: Amalfi Coast - Sorrento - Amalfi - Minori - Amalfi Coast
Begin your day exploring the popular and charming seaside resort town of Sorrento. This afternoon, travel to the delightful
town of Amalfi where you have time to explore. Next, we continue to Minori where you will have the opportunity to sample
some of the local specialties at a family-owned limoncello factory. You’ll also enjoy a typical Italian afternoon break at a local

Today we experience the excavated ruins of Pompeii at the foothills of Mount Vesuvius. Soak in the history of the preserved
original buildings of a typical Roman town 2,000 years ago. A local guide will provide an in-depth view of this remarkable
archaeological site. Stop at a local winery at the foot of Mt. Vesuvius to savor the famous Lacryma Christo wines and enjoy a
typical Neapolitan lunch. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Friday, May 6, 2016: Amalfi Coast - Naples – Rome
Bid farewell to the Amalfi Coast this morning and proceed to colorful and vibrant Naples. Enjoy a visit to the fascinating
