The first 15 years
of CAMEX!
Between 6th and 9th of April, the National Exhibition of Constructions and Installations CAMEX celebrated 15 years
together with the Iasi residents and gathered up 70 constructions companies from around the country. Among them
were the leaders in constructions industry from Romania, some with a tradition of more than 12 years at CAMEX.
During the three days of the event the stands of the exhibiting companies were visited by 5000 people, most of them
man, aged between 31 and 50 years.
The anniversary edition CAMEX Iasi inaugurated the Moldova Exhibition Centre and on this occasion also took place
the project completion conference held by Constantin Simirad, the County Coucil President and Romeo Olteanu
Deputy Chief of Iasi City Hall and Florin Mindirigiu, the General Manager of ABplus Events. The conference was
followed by a press briefing on the following events: the CAMEX Exhibition, The Regional Architecture Conference
and The Regional Urbanism Conference ended by the official tour of the Moldova Exhibition Centre and of the
National Exhibition of Constructions and Installations CAMEX Iasi.
2011, the 15th year of CAMEX stood under the mark of getting back to business and it had as main objective the
improvement of the dynamic of the construction sector.

producers are still reliable partners that have overpassed the impact created by the economic crisis of
the last years and secondly to contact with the representatives of the construction market from
Moldova. To the public from Iasi we present a new range of finishes, decorative paints and plasters as
well as a new range of polystyrene foam with feder-nut, specifically designed to eliminate thermal bridges and increase

In period 6-9 of April 2011, the Exibition Center Moldova Iasi has hosted the
National Exibition of Constructions and Installations CAMEX and the Regional
Forum in Constructions Construct Week. The events organised by ABplus Events
Company has inaugurated the center accomplished by the Minister of Regional
Development and Tourism, Council District Iasi and Local Council Iasi.
The end of the project Exibition Center Moldova Iasi, an investment of 8.8 milion
euros value, has been marked through a press conference sustained on 7 April 2011
by Mr. Dr.Constantin Simirad, the president of the Council District Iasi, Mr. Romeo
Olteanu, deputy chief of the Council of Iasi City, and the general manager of the
company ABplus Events, Florin Mindirigiu. The conference has been followed by
an official tour of the exibition space which has gathered a number of 5.250 of
visitors for the whole period of annyversary events CAMEX.
