CPP in Hardap Volume 1, Issue 1 CPP launched in Hardap Inside this issue: The Hardap Region was not part of those regions selected in the beginning, but came in as a result of request from the Regional Council. As such, the contract was signed in June 2010. The reason why we decided upon 4 sites is because of the small inputs required and that most of them are existing projects. Potential Sites and projects from all six constituencies (Gibeon, Mariental Urban and Rural, Rehoboth West/East and Rural), were identified and proposed during CPP inception workshop in July 2009 held at Mariental. The task team, discussed at length and reaches consensus to consider the most poverty stricken constituencies ( Rehoboth Rural, West, Mariental rural and Urban) in providing support.
