These three options would give every resident a base on which they can easily create their own distinctive look. As its name suggests, Black & White is a cleanlined monochrome combination warmed by whitewashed ash. Scandinavia combines white and light grey in a fresh way, both within the furniture and with the oak flooring.” The Continental style has soft, earthy tones like sand and clay. The pictures in this brochure are taken from material suppliers' image banks. 3 Artist's impression Black & White – Graphic clarity The graphic clarity of black and white creates a strong and elegant foundation for creating your own look. Playful yet controlled shades of grey bring warmth and softness, and whitewashed ash adds a touch of nature. Light grey or graphite have been chosen as accent colours to complete the white walls. The theme is maintained throughout the apartment The intense contrast is emphasised in the Black & White kitchen, where stylish stainless steel appliances add a little spice. The same minimalistic palette also extends to the bathroom and separate WC. Artist's impression Scandinavia – Nordic paleness Scandinavia is based on pale Nordic nature, which has long been reflected in Scandinavian architecture and design – and is therefore pleasing to many of us. Warm oak Beautiful, vibrant oak gives Scandinavia warmth and a distinctive style. Oak can be found in the white matte lacquered wooden parquet of floors that gently reflect the light. It's also beautifully highlighted in the bleached oak veneer used in the kitchen's base cabinets. The accent wall colours – natural sand and light grey – meld into a harmonious whole. Artist's impression Continental – Nature's own colours The Continental palette was inspired by European style, from earthy materials. Genuine oak parquet, with a warm grey tint, is a definitive element that brings beauty and vibrancy to this style. These earthy tones continue in the walls, where a white base is accented with sandy hues and warm clay grey. The interplay of white and grey Warm grey can also be found in the matte surfaces of the kitchen's base cabinets. White has been used to lighten the look of the wall cabinets and the area below them. This combination of pure white and grey also continues in the bathrooms. Apartments can be accessed via the first-floor lobby (at ground level), from the shopping centre, garden deck or underground parking facility. The wide range of apartments ensures that everyone will find something to suit their needs. The building has studios and two- and three-room apartments for singles and small families, but also offers larger three- and floor-room family apartments on different floors. Although some apartments have their own sauna, Redin Majakka's top-quality communal saunas are available for everyone to use. Communal saunas can be found on both the 5th floor garden deck and the 33rd floor. Majakka's lowest residential floor is quite high up compared to a regular apartment block – on the 6th floor. The GARDEN apartments, which afford fabulous views across the garden deck, are located on floors 6¬–16.
