d i i n t e r i o r designer P p l u s P L t d , per d a r v i t a a d u n luogo che
o l t r e p a s s a i c o n f i n i del t r a d i z i o n a l e p u n t o v e n d i t a , i n q u a n t o
crea u n ' e s p e r i e n z a sensoriale senza p r e c e d e n t i . L ' i n s t a l l a zione estetica è i m p a t t a n t e , d e t e r m i n a t a d a soggetti a s t r a t t i
r a f f i g u r a n t i i l corpo f e m m i n i l e : l a grande trave c e n t r a l e è cel a t a d a u n m o n o l i t e d a l l a c o n f o r m a z i o n e del fisico d i d o n n a
s u l quale sono a g g a n c i a t i dei s u p p o r t i per c o r n i c i p o r t a foto
e screen d i g i t a l i . I l passaggio i n t e r n o è s u d d i v i s o i n q u a t t r o
zone, definite d a u n a p a v i m e n t a z i o n e a piccole p i a s t r e l l e
b i a n c h e e nere, a simboleggiare i l concetto d i Y i n (nero) e
Y a n g (bianco), d e l l ' a n t i c a filosofia asiatica. Le esigenze f u n z i o n a l i del negozio h a n n o d e t e r m i n a t o a n c h e l ' i n s e r i m e n t o t r a
i p r o d o t t i , d i oggetti d i design d i q u a t t r o a r t i s t i d i o g n i epoca.
Le n i c c h i e espositive sono m o b i l i , f a c i l m e n t e t r a s f e r i b i l i , ed i n
grado d i f o r n i r e un'eccellente presentazione delle collezioni.
G l i a p p a r e c c h i d i i l l u m i n a z i o n e a sospensione valorizzano l a
c o m b i n a z i o n e c r o m a t i c a , b a s a t a s u l b i a n c o e nero: r i f l e t t o r i
a led s o s t i t u i s c o n o le classiche l a m p a d e alogene, e l i m i n a n d o
così i n u t i l i s p r e c h i d i energia, i n q u a n t o l'azienda m e t t e a l
p r i m o posto l a gestione ecologica dello s v i l u p p o dei p r o d o t t i
fino allo s m a l t i m e n t o ed a l l a sostenibilità. Le g r a n d i v e t r i n e

a m b i e n t e d a l l ' a t m o s f e r a elegante e sofisticato, m o l t o diverso

PplusP Designers Ltd (P+P)
E' un innovativo studio di design specializzato in
interior design. Fondato nel 2009, l'ufficio ha sede
a Hong Kong e uno studio a Sydney in Australia.
Il team, capitanato da Wesley Liu, comprende architetti, interior designer e grafici che condividono
una comune passione per il design. P+P, oltrepassando l'ambito di uno studio di design, fornisce
servizi multidisciplinari in diversi settori, come
installazioni artistiche, corporate design, hotel,
ospitalità, ristoranti e punti vendita. Lo Studio
è l'insieme di competenze di diverse divisioni
del design, e aperto così, a varie idee ed
opportunità concettuali.
PplusP Designers Ltd (P+P) is an innovative design studio
specialising in interior design and project management
Founded in 2009, the office is based in Hong Kong with
a regional studio in Sydney, Australia. Led by Wesley
Liu, the team includes architects, interior designers and
graphic artists whom all share a common passion for
design. P+P transcends beyond the scope of a design
studio, providing multidisciplinary services across multiple industries, such as art installation, corporate design,
hotel, hospitality, restaurants, and retail. The studio represents a collection of expertise from different divisions
of the design discipline, hence opening up to a wider
scope of conceptual ideas and possibilities.

The project's
brief is to create a modern and cozy space,
where one could relax and experience
the journey
of
shopping.
Walking into BUBIES,
one would be attracted by the feminine-shaped
structure.
An abstract woman's
body shape
like
display object as focus at first glance In order to cover the
large beam located at the center, an abstract object that imitates woman's
body curve line is created. It not only fits the
theme ofBubies,
but also functions
as a display system
with
stretch-out
digital photo frames'
shelf. Being located at the
center of the shop, such feminine body shape like display system functions
as a focus spot when enters the shop. The space is zoned into four areas by different tiles, symbolizing
the
Asian signature of Yin Yang while fusing in modern
elements.
This also fulfills the functional
needs of the store, which has
crossover product design with 4 artists every period.
Applying
4 different floor materials
allows easy distinguish
between
different artists' product display. The display niches are also
made free to slide and rotate, providing great varieties on how
the space looks and feels, making the atmosphere
different
every visit. The flexible display system also allows a multifunctional
use of space. Beyond a traditional
store, the space
could be used to conduct different events and activities in the
same place. To make the store a sustainable
space,
energy
efficient LED reflector lamps was used to replace
traditional
halogen
lamps. They help eliminating
unnecessary
energy
consumption
without scarifying the unique sparkling effect of
halogen lamps. Furthermore,
the choice of LED reflector
lamps eliminates
the heat generated for the hot halogen
lamps,
thus reduces the burden on air-conditioning.
The color theme
and material were also carefully choice. With the main theme
color of white, the efficiency of lighting is enhanced while doesn't scarify the elegant atmosphere
of the environment. The
abundant
use of clear mirror also helps making the store a
transparent
and spacious
environment
without the need of
adding extra lighting equipment. The windows of the shop are
also designed with a flexible curtain system. •
