PowerMadd Sentinel handguard mounting on Polaris IQ chassis
PowerMadd Sentinel handguard mounting on Polaris IQ chassis using 34450 Sentinel Snowmobile mount kit Use these instructions along with the instructions provided with the 34450 mount kit. On the IQ chassis with the Rider Select (1-5) adjustable steering column the Sentinel guards will hit the windshield in the #5 position. On machines with a flat top steering post we suggest using a 45503 2” non-pivot riser block to improve rider comfort and make clearance for the Sentinel handguards. No changes to cables are need with this riser. If your sled has the full rubber handle bar cover (photo 1) you will need to: Photo 1 1. Cut slots in your rubber cover for the handguard mounting brackets. See instructions below (photo 2&3). 2. Remove cover and install a handle bar cover and install PowerMadd’s riser bag p/n 73603 (2” riser required) see photo 4 or PowerMadd fat bar pad p/n 44261 see photo 5. Photo 2 Use these instructions along with the instructions provided with the 34450 mount kit. Remove full rubber handle bar cover if you have one at this time.
