In the classic book Experiencing God, Henry Blackaby
describes two different ways of planning:
1) Think up an idea and pray like crazy for God to bless it; or
2) Look where God is already blessing and join Him there.
This is an essential, biblical principle for ministry. Jesus
taught in John 5:19:
“
I’m telling you this straight.
The Son can’t independently do a thing,
only what he sees the Father doing.
What the Father does, the Son does.
THE MESSAGE
This is our approach at Church Doctor Ministries. We are
God watchers, and for almost 40 years, we have made
journeys all over the world where God is blessing the church.
For the last 12 years, Church Doctor Ministries has taken
church leaders from North America on powerful immersion
excursions, in England and the United States, so they can
see, feel, and become infected by the Spirit with the DNA of
mission and revival! This is Jesus’ approach — catch what
cannot be taught.

Lakepointe church
LakePointe has grown from 0 to 1,000+ in worship in seven
years. This is a church reaching people many churches have
not reached.
In past years, LakePointe has had more baptisms than any of
the other 5,000 churches in the denomination, anywhere in the
U.S.
Your congregation will not likely become a clone of LakePointe. However, your exposure to this ministry will give you
transferrable insights and principles that can be incorporated
in any church. These are basic missional concepts played out
in real-life ministry.
The secularization of the U.S. has resulted in broken lives,
dysfunctional families, unhealthy lifestyles, and a great sense
of hopelessness. At LakePointe, you will see firsthand and

Church Doctors Kent Hunter and Tracee Swank have

Trip cost is $250 USD.
Cost includes: Breakfast, lunch, and two group dinners (some
dinners will be on your own); transportation in and around Hot
Springs, Arkansas; teaching and consultation with LakePointe
Church leaders; teaching and debriefing by the Church Doctor
Team; materials and resources.
You are responsible for your own travel arrangements to and
from Hot Springs, Arkansas. You are urged to raise money
from support partners in your church to help with trip costs,
and then, upon return, share with them your experience.
