Dear Supporter,
The 14th Annual Humane Race is just around the corner. This 5K fun run & 1 mile walk
with our dogs is the largest fundraiser for The Berkshire Humane Society held in northern
Berkshire County. It is a fun and unique way for our community, and our dogs, to support
such a fantastic organization!
To all our past sponsors thank you for your generous contributions. Last year’s sponsors
and 200 race/walk participants raised over $10,000.
The Berkshire Humane Society, a private nonprofit organization, receives no public funds
from local, state or federal sources. It is an essential resource providing shelter for
homeless pets, Animal Welfare programs, as well as Humane Education and Community
Outreach to break the cycle of homeless pets. This work is invaluable and takes place all
over the county. Your sponsorship dollars go directly to these effective programs.
Can we count on your support for this year’s May 14th race?
Attached are the 2016 Sponsorship Levels and Contribution forms. This year the Berkshire
Humane Society has added benefits to the sponsorship levels including recognition in all
three of their events: The Humane Race, Woofstock - Bark in the Park and the Berkshire
Humane Society Horse Show.
Deadline for submissions to be included in all marketing pieces is April 15, 2016.
