Experts are predicting 5 billion dollars will be
raised by the end of 2013. There are over 500
different crowdfunding platforms. Projects
range from charitable causes to business startups. The passage of the JOBS Act last year
has the potential to dramatically increase
the number of funders and recipients by

Jerry Terwilliger, a REAP specialist teaches
the basics of QuickBooks™ in a one-day
mini session — a great opportunity to learn
the “ins and outs” of this program for your
accounting needs. Class is held in the newly
remodeled computer lab at the Grant County
Library. Jerry brings five laptop computers
installed with QuickBooks™ software. If
you have your own laptop with 2011 or
newer QuickBooks™ software, you are
welcome to bring your own. Please mention
if you are bringing your own computer when
registering.

Flat tires, dead batteries, windshield wipers
scraping. Are you frustrated when these
situations arise? Let Cliff Dailey, owner of

windshield wipers. Cliff has you check
out everything “under the hood.” The only

Medication Aide
Prerequisite: HLTH-1190
This course is designed to instruct the
experienced Nurses Aide to assume the role
of Medication Aide, who has a beginning
knowledge of medication administration
and pharmacology. Upon completion of the
course, the student will be eligible to sit for
an exam administered by the Department of
Health. Successful completion of this exam
will approve the student as a Medication
Aide.

system by mapping out the sun and
planets on a very large map — over
1,000 yards in length! Investigate the
other planets in our solar system. We
also observe the sun using telescopes,
