Magn.Star C-2000_DataSheet 3/18/03 TELEDYNE CONTROLS A Teledyne Technologies Company Digital Airborne Telephone System MagnaStar ® C-2000 System The MagnaStar® C-2000 digital airborne telephone system is a complete airborne communication package designed specifically for corporate and regional aviation. Lightweight and reliable the C-2000 can be mounted in any pressurized or non-pressurized location on the aircraft. The C-2000’s advanced PBX can support Frequency Range Receive: 849-851 MHzTransmit: 849-896 MHz nine (9) independent voice, fax or data calls from up to 50 handset locations on the RF Channels 290 aircraft. The C-2000 incorporates two-air/ground radios that utilize the Verizon® Verizon® Service Voice Channels 2 Independent Channels Telecommunications Network, as well as supporting interfaces to Inmarsat and Iridium satcom systems for international services. Dual Verizon® Network Air-Ground Channels (C-2000) FAX/Data Modem Multiple Independent Users TDD ■ Two simultaneous voice, data or fax calls. ■ An RJ-11 jack connects to fax or PC. ■ The system can support nine simultaneous voice, fax, or modem calls from up to 50 locations. The PBX supports up to 9 independent upcall numbers. ■ Customer-supplied TDD equipment is supported by the handset or the RJ-11 jacks. Privacy ■ An advanced modulation and signaling scheme provides communications privacy. Interphone Calling ■ Conference, seat-to-seat and cabin-to-cockpit calling is standard. This allows air travelers to conference with people in the plane and on the ground. Caller ID ■ Displays the upcalling party's telephone number.
