As I sit down to pen this welcoming letter, the day is March 1, in 26 days we will be
in Oklahoma enjoying the great Red Dirt weather and hospitality, and I for one can’t
wait. The weather in South Dakota has been considerably milder this winter than past
years and the same for my home in Ohio but nothing compares to the end of March
in Marietta.

I’ve flown to South Dakota twice in the last few weeks as we prepare for this sale
and I can’t begin to express in words how excited I am of this set of cattle. General
Manger, Cory Thomsen does a incredible job putting this set of cattle together There
truly is something for everyone. I love the fact we sell them in everyone’s price range
and almost half of the offering will sell under the $5000!
We always want them to sell well, we are in the business to make money but we love
the fact so many of these cattle sell to 4-H and FFA families in the area. Bushy Park
Farms Owner, Steve Robinson grew up not far from Marietta, over east of Durant in
Bokchito, Oklahoma. Steve was active in the FFA program and a top program offering
top end show prospects at a fair value to the youth was something he thought was
missing when he grew up. All of us with Bushy Park Farm take great pride in this sale
because our families like your grew up in the junior show programs.

We will be using the buyer number system at this auction. You will have to register with
the clerks prior to the bidding. Terms will be cash or good check with proper ID. All
cattle are to be paid for immediately following the sale and are not to be loaded
until settlement has been made.
All animals sell to the highest bidder. The auctioneer will settle any disputes and his
decision will be final.
Genetic Material- Bushy Park Farms reserves the right to collect genetic material
(DNA) for cloning purposes on all animals sold. This right transfers with the ownership of the animal for the life of the animal.
Retained flushes- Bushy Park Farms reserves the rights to one successful flush or
may partner with the buyer on two, at the buyers convenience.
Semen Rights- Bushy Park Farm keeps a semen interest on bulls sold to utilize for
in-herd use only.
Breeding guarantee- All animals offered for sale are guaranteed in accordance
with the recommend terms set forth by the applicable breed association.
Trucking- Bushy Park Farms and sale management will be happy to assist customers
with trucking arrangements. We will group cattle and get them headed in your
direction at a reasonable rate, but neither Bushy Park Farm nor sale management assumes any responsibility for the pricing of trucking or the collection of
trucking fees.
Health- As calves, all cattle were vaccinated and booster shots were giving in the fall
for IBR, BVD, P13, BRSV, 7-Way Pasteurella, Haemophilus, Vitamin A, D, & E, and
have been poured with Ivomec. All animals will be accompanied by an interstate
health certificate. Insurance information will be available sale day.

This I-80 daughter is the perfect place to lead off this outstanding offering. She was raised by
Les Caffee in Wessington Springs, SD, and this female was the talk when it came to females of
the January sales in South Dakota. Once we laid eyes on her we knew that we could not in good
conscience head south without this great female. After a month and a half of bidding, we finally
got to go load her and boy are we glad she’s on our side. This one’s mother is one of those great
cows that you find once in a great while and she has definitely passed on her quality to her I-80
daughter. This one has all the bells and whistles! She’s a long necked, huge bodied rip that has
the length of stride and agility of a thoroughbred. She will be tough to tangle with in next year’s

Lot 16 is the first of three maternal sisters out of the 99Y Yellow Jacket donor. The first one and
maybe the best show heifer of the trio is sired by the Chris Black and Kevin Heath sire Bold and
Gold. This one is a good-looking MaineTainer female that has the most extension and size to her.
The 99Y donor is one of the first cows that people ask about at the ranch. She is a wide built cow
with a ton of guts. We sold a $10,000 steer to Jacob Tusa last spring that was out of 99Y and
sired by Milkman.

Pump Daddy. These cattle are sure put together right, as they are very solid
on the ground with some width and shape. Furthermore these cattle have
some length and some grow to them for club calf sires. We think these two
females will be star-studded club calf donor cows. They are built right for the
times and have unlimited upside potential. Brandon Horn genetics on the top
and Chris Black breeding represented on the bottom side of this pedigree. It’s
the perfect recipe for a steer momma!

We cleaned out the semen tank and found a straw of the Deullo Cattle sire, Black Label. We didn’t
have many of the Black Label cattle, but the ones we had were really maternal and well built.
He would occasionally put the motley head on one like he himself had. Lot 20 is a cool looking
specimen that has made the short list of many of the early visitors here at BPF this year. Her
mother is a great uddered Benz daughter that is backed by the 6917 donor that was purchased
two years ago by Mike Locke and the Bigfoot Ranch in Iowa. This is a really cool bred female!
