The Girls of Summer--after the weather we have had in, the Midwest this winter any phrase that has the word
summer in it is ok with this guy. Marietta at the end of March has to be one of my favorite places on God’s green earth
and with the moisture Oklahoma has been getting, it’s sure to be green this year. The last several years, we have been
blessed with just great weather for folks to come look at our cattle and we hope it stays true to tradition.
For several years now I have served as the sale manager/marketing agent for Bushy Park Farm and I honestly get
more excited about this farm’s program each year… After you look through this catalog, I encourage you to visit their
website at www.bpfcc.com and please look at the donor pages, past sale catalogs and online sales we have archived
online. This clearly shows the consistent manner Bushy Park Farm produces cattle. This isn’t a one-time deal, these
cattle are the result of time-tested matings and a deep passion to breed and build better livestock. Look at the cow
families behind them, you will find certain cow families and genetic lines showing up time and time again. Now days,
not many folks raising composite cattle put as much weight on the cow families as they once did, but that’s still an
integral part of Bushy Park’s program.
With that said, it leads me to a point of emphasis. There’s a powerful line up of outstanding proven time-tested donors
in the pens in Mitchell—in fact probably the most powerful lineup you could find. They could rest on their laurels

We will be using the buyer number system at this auction. You will have to register with
the clerks prior to the bidding. Terms will be cash or good check with proper ID. All
cattle are to be paid for immediately following the sale and are not to be loaded
until settlement has been made.
All animals sell to the highest bidder. The auctioneer will settle any disputes and his
decision will be final.
Genetic Material- Bushy Park Farms reserves the right to collect genetic material
(DNA) for cloning purposes on all animals sold. This right transfers with the ownership of the animal for the life of the animal.
Retained flushes- Bushy Park Farms reserves the rights to one successful flush or
may partner with the buyer on two, at the buyers convenience.
Semen Rights- Bushy Park Farm keeps a semen interest on bulls sold to utilize for
in-herd use only.

Breeding guarantee- All animals offered for sale are guaranteed in accordance
with the recommend terms set forth by the applicable breed association.
Trucking- Bushy Park Farms and sale management will be happy to assist customers
with trucking arrangements. We will group cattle and get them headed in your
direction at a reasonable rate, but neither Bushy Park Farm nor sale management assumes any responsibility for the pricing of trucking or the collection of
trucking fees.
Health- As calves, all cattle were vaccinated and booster shots were giving in the fall
for IBR, BVD, P13, BRSV, 7-Way Pasteurella, Haemophilus, Vitamin A, D, & E, and
have been poured with Ivomec. All animals will be accompanied by an interstate
health certificate. Insurance information will be available sale day.

This a really cool mating that has led to success! This Dr. Who cow was purchased in our
fall sale by Steve Bonham. If you know Steve, you know he only messes with the best
and this cow was just that. She has had many go through our sales throughout the years,
but the best one was a full sib to these eggs we offer here. She was purchased by Wade
Rodgers and went on to be the high selling bred heifer in the First Class Sale in Dunlap
Iowa. This deal has worked before and it will work again.
