The BIM Day Out organising committee would like to welcome and thank you for supporting this
inaugural BIM event. This is the culmination of many months of planning and hard work, as the
committee attempted to condense a years’ worth of logistics into 6 short months!
We would not have been able to secure the calibre and variety of speakers and presentations without
the involvement (and encouragement) of our supporters and sponsors.
On behalf of the BIM enthusiasts and exponents that make up both the organising committee and

THE DETAILS
For those supporters who have taken out a Vendor Sponsor package, we will be supplying the following**:




Provision of exhibition stand in central lobby (Large LCD flat panel, table, brochure stand, stools,
power) for use for the 2 days and networking drink functions.
2x attendee tickets with ability to purchase more for staff or guests at permanent VIP rates.
1x presentation slot on program to showcase products/services. This presentation could be run by
another presenter (current user or committee in negotiation) or could be run as a virtual presentation
(webcast) for international sponsors.
Company name, logo and link featured on website, emails and all social media.

The Result
Vendors will receive 2x “Access All Areas” equivalent ticket which includes lunch, access to Unplugged
networking function and the After Party. Any additional tickets required (for staff working on the stand) will be
supplied as Expo Area only. At this stage we have now SOLD OUT of additional attendee tickets for those
sponsors that were requiring an upgrade.
The stands will be supplied and arranged by Perth Expo Hire in association with the BIM Day Out.
All power cables and VGA/HDMMI cables will be supplied.
Sponsors are expected to supply their own laptops, 2x pull-up banners and A4 brochures for distribution.
Attendees will be provided with a “BDO Show Bag” so vendors may also choose to supply marketing items for
inclusion in bags or pick up by any visitors to their booth.
The Soundcheck
Sponsors are requested to meet on-site with the BDO Committee at 4:00pm Wednesday 17th. We will be
providing additional copies of this booklet and answering any questions you may have.
The Bump
Sponsors will have access to deliver banners and brochures from Wednesday 17th July between 3pm-5pm.
Entry is via the Aberdeen Street entrance. A secure storage room will be provided for “small” items that need
to be stored after hours whilst the Expo is unattended.
The Expo area will accessible to attendees 9am-6pm Thursday, and 9am -6:30pm on Friday. The Unplugged
event (networking function) will be running Friday 18th from 5pm-6:30pm.
Perth Expo Hire will commence pick up of items from 6:30pm on the Friday.

THE FAQs
How many brochures should I bring to the conference?
Sponsors are encouraged to bring a minimum of 250 copies of their literature to be distributed.
Will there be a promotional bag or satchel?
Yes, we have printed a satchel and have an assortment of freebies included.
We are encouraging all vendors to make available 2 x A4 pages to be included in the registration
packs. Items to be included need to be delivered by COB Tuesday 16th to:

If you are unable to make this deadline you can instead distribute brochures or items from your booth
as attendees will have the satchels on them.
Will our stands enclosed? Or is there a wall near our stand that we would be able to hang a poster?
The booths will be free-standing as per previously supplied artist’s impression. There will be no walls
available for posters or banners due to CIT requirements and restrictions. A limited number of free
standing partitions may be accessed for sponsors who contact the committee prior to the event.
Will HDMI cables be supplied with the screens? Are there any extras we will need to bring?
All power and connection cables will be provided by the event equipment supplier. The screens will be
VGA and HDMI capable. Vendors are expected to provide laptop to connect to screens and 2x pull-up
banners to “brand” their booth.
How long with the BDO website remain live?
This sponsor and endorsement pages will be available for 3 months beyond the event, as we envisage
using the BDO website to host not just presentations, but also foster ongoing conversations and
discussions regarding BIM and collaboration.
