Drink in the Beauty - Death`s Door Spirits
Drink in the Beauty Death’s Door Spirits unveils new packaging for vodka and gin bottles at Juniper Harvest Festival November 7, 2009, Washington Island, Wisconsin. Madison, Wisconsin- October 30, 2009- Sometimes you can have it all. Death’s Door Spirits, long known in the Great Lakes Region for producing exceptional products, unveils its new packaging design for their award winning Death’s Door Vodka and Death’s Door Gin. So far, the response has been positive: “This is some of the best packaging I’ve seen in quite a while,” exclaimed Brad Trayer, founder and president of Kilo Kai rum and former owner of Effen Vodka, who then joked. “Brian and I aren’t friends anymore because he packaging is cooler than mine.” “We believe this packaging will take Death’s Door to the next level,” claimed Danny Wirtz, VicePresident of Spirits, Wirtz Beverage Group. “As much as we don’t like to admit that packaging makes a product, its exciting to see a line like Death’s Door Spirits that has exceptional quality inside with now amazing new packaging to match.” Getting to the final product was not direct, or easy, and typical of much of the success enjoyed by Death’s Door Spirits, it came through hard work, connections and a little bit of serendipity. “Where we started and where we ended up was a pretty interesting journey,” reported Death’s Door President, Brian Ellison, “We wanted something distinctive, but also familiar and recognizable. The direction was to make the vodka look like a perfume bottle and the gin to have a more apothecary feel.”
