PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Members of the Athens State Staff are shown enjoying a
Lunch and Learn presentation by Laurel Long, UAHuntsville,
Wednesday, June 18th. Ms. Long presented the topic of
“FISH”, an enjoyable insight into the business success of Pike
Place Fish Market, an unassuming neighborhood fish market
in Seattle, Washington, and its quest to become “World
Famous” for going beyond providing outstanding service to
people. The presentation was organized by the Staff Senate.
Appropriate beautiful decorations for the lunch
theme were provided by Dee Green in
Athens State Limestone Bay Food Services.
From the Pike Place Fish website: “It’s about taking care of people
(our customers). We’re always on the lookout for how we can make
a difference in people’s lives.”
