THE WING PRODUCT
WING® INFLATABLE SPONSONS
Made to any OEM specifications and to fit virtually any Rigid Inflatable set-up
on the globe or you can upgrade your original sponsons with the superior fit
and long lasting performance of Wing sponsons.
WING® CRRC
Made for military and law enforcement, the Wing P Series Craft are the ideal
platform for mission requirements ranging from search, rescue & recovery to
insertion & extraction.
WING® SPECIALTY PRODUCT
Wing Inflatables builds specialty product which include the SkiCollar™, WingCat
tubes, and the root of our product line, the whitewater raft.
Wing Inflatables manufactures original equipment and replacement sponsons
for a large and ever growing number of RIBs. Our use of polyurethane fabric ,
advanced construction techniques, and superior design ensure that equipping
your RIB with a WING sponson is the best choice you can make.
The Wing P series craft are the ideal inflatable boats for missions in which
rapid deployment, high performance, and reliability are key assets for success.
Whether paddled for stealth or powered for speed, Wing’s CRRCs are
designed for a variety of military and law enforcement missions—from
combat reconnaissance to search and seizure; from boarding operations to
search and rescue; from insertion to extraction of Special Forces teams to
maritime patrol. Whatever you need, we’ve got you covered.
Wing Inflatables is an all-US owned and operated company based in Northern
California. We design and produce inflatable products out of extremely
durable, US made polyurethane coated nylon and polyester fabrics, using
thermo bonding and radio frequency welding techniques. We do this with
assistance from proprietary CAD software written exclusively from our fabric’s unique and superior characteristics. Our product range includes inflatable boats, rafts, pontoons, fuel bladders, engine bags, foam collars and air
holding tubes for RIBS. This line of inflatable products is managed by a cadre
of dedicated engineers, designers and craftsman. We can build to most
specification while exceeding any expectation of quality workmanship,
product performance and enthusiastic customer support. This is our
commitment and our guarantee.
SPONSON TUBES
& COLLARS
Air Holding Collar:
Air-holding tubes are divided into a
number of independent inflatable
sections by baffles so that if one section fails the rest of the tube remains
inflated
Hybrid Collar:
The Air/Foam hybrid melds characteristics
of air-holding and foam-insert collars. The
key to the hybrid is the inflatable bladder
that is compressed between the hull and
the foam.
Air Foam Collar:
In the rare event of a breach in the polyurethane fabric and a loss of air pressure,
the packed foam maintains the chambers
shape and 80% of it's flotation factor
Foam Collar:
A foam collar consists of closed-cell (nonabsorbent) high-density foam surrounded
by a polyurethane sheath.
REPLACEMENT SPONSONS
Wing polyurethane has twice the puncture resistance and four times
greater abrasion resistance than Hypalon. The expected service life of a
polyurethane tube is 7-8 years versus only five for a Hypalon tube. These
benefits don’t just speak for our tubes, they speak for our entire product
line.

CRAFT DESCRIPTION
SEVEN KEY REASONS TO RUN ONE
#1 Polyurethane vs. Hypalon (CSM) - A polyester scrim coated with
polyurethane not only gives the Wing CRRC superior tear, puncture and
abrasion resistance compared to CSM and PVC, the 1680 denier thread
count adds stiffness as well. Consequently, an inflated Wing is more rigid
yet lighter than boats made with lesser materials. A lighter, more rigid
boat is faster, more
maneuverable and a
more efficient boat to
run.
#2 Thermo-welded
vs. glued seams Thermo-welding
bonds two pieces of
coated fabric together
as if they were one.
Molecularly fused
using heat (not
adhesives as with
Hypalon), welded
seams are far more
reliable than glued
seams. Expect a
greatly extended
service life and a
much longer shelf life
for boats in long-term
storage with welded
seams over glued
seams.
#3 FRP Composite transom, floorboards and thrustboard vs. plywood/
aluminum - FRP composite is nonabsorbent so it won’t rot or decay. It is
lighter than wood or aluminum and has a superior strength to weight ratio.
# 4 Tapered Bow - Our tapered side tubes and squared-off bow creates 20%
more usable hard deck space in the bow. On the outside, the squared-off
bow directs water down into the V-hull assisting with lift and planing.
#5 V hull design vs. lower buoyancy tubes - With and without a load, the
Wing CRRCs get up on a plane fast—faster than a LBT equipped competition.
Eliminating these unnecessary LBT’s results in less weight, less draft, less
drag, a reduced wake profile, and less stuff to go wrong. The four inch dead
rise from our MBT to the fabric floor creates a tunnel effect that assist in lift
at higher speeds.
#6 Dimensionally the same as current in-service CRRC models - For all the
increased performance the Wing CRRCs are identical bow to stern, and port
beam to starboard, as the current in-service CRRCs. Our basic models weigh
less as well, so it will easily match, fit, lift, install, launch, trailer, or stow for
any mission.
#7 Berry Amendment Compliant - Every Wing CRRC model is proudly made
in the USA by skilled workers who care deeply and passionately about the
quality and performance of this unique craft as well as the special people
who are called upon to operate it during their missions.
STANDARD FEATURES
Two floor systems are available for the P series craft*. The Roll-Up Deck and
the Composite Deck. The Composite Deck utilizes joiners and gussets to join
the deck together. Installation of the craft is easy and the composite floor is
30% lighter than a comparable aluminum deck. When on the water, the
inherent shock mitigating qualities of the composite deck reduces user
fatigue.

The Cross-Over Valve is a simple design for air communication or isolation.
Open the valve to communicate and close it to isolate. No other action needed.
Each chamber is also fitted with one inflation and one OP Valve.

Whitewater Rafts & IBS
Our roots are on the river. Years of personal experience coupled with of
partnering with outfitters to design and build boats to their specific needs
has lead us to our latest design offerings. We also offer the Inflatable Boat
Small—used for BUD/S training and other various military applications.
Other projects are in the works including a drop stitch high pressure air deck
and the ICP (Inflatable Craft Pack). It won’t be long before you’ll see these
new products on the water. So we’ll see you soon for the sea trial.
Don’t see what you need, just ask. Wing can provide custom solutions for
any inflatable craft requirement.
