MEXICO CITY’S
ART & ARCHITECTURE
October 17 - 21, 2013
Casa Museo Barragan
Join fellow Art in General supporters on an art-and-architecture-filled four-day getaway to Mexico City,
from Thursday evening, October 17 - Monday afternoon, October 21. Stay in Ricardo Legorreta’s colorful
Camino Real Polanco Hotel, meet prominent Mexican collectors and artists, visit contemporary galleries,
artist studios and the city’s museums, and admire up-close the great murals by Diego Rivera and his
contemporaries during a guided tour led by a renowned architectural historian.
The city is bursting with exciting new architecture and a vibrant artistic energy. From Frida Kahlo’s
Blue House to Luis Barragán’s House and Studio, Mexico’s cultural heritage will come alive, while its
future will present itself in several exciting new museums and gallery spaces. Enjoy lunch and dinner
and evenings in many of Mexico City’s local, culinary hot-spots. The group size is limited to ensure an
intimate experience.
