Last Minute Details
As we get closer to our show we have a few last minute
details to go over in order to make life easier on the big
day. Please feel free to stop by the coaches room or the
table set up in the lobby if you have any questions or
concerns that we haven’t covered. Your group captains
are also available to help you in any way they can.
Starting this week we will be using the side entrance to get
to the dressing rooms. We will use that entrance as our
sign in/sing out gate for the show and find it easiest if we
get used to it a few days in advance. The entrance is
located at the bottom of the stairs to the right of the main
arena entrance.
Any changes we make this week or next leading up to the
show are made for the safety of the skaters and we
appreciate your cooperating when putting on an event this
size.
FACEBOOK
Facebook and Social Media is a great way to get news out skaters and to
the community. We have had a few contests the last few weeks with our
last give away this week, please share away to help get the word out!

Costume Requirements
At this point all costume requirements should be handed in and labeled for your
skater but if you have not handed them in please bring them this week!
Pink Galinda’s
Citizens of Emerald City
Animals
The Pre Canskaters will be the only
group that is wearing their helmet for
the performance. We do ask that you
remove any facemasks for dress
rehearsal to give them some time to get
used to it. There will be helmet covers
with hats or bows to finish their
costumes.
Blue Galinda’s
Please curl your skaters hair prior to
putting in their pigtails. Also any make
up that can be applied before arriving
would be helpful in the dressing room
All skaters must have black tights for
dress rehearsal and the show. If you are
having trouble locating some for your
skater please speak with your group
captain and we may have some in our
costume storage that you may borrow.
Small Elphaba’s
Good news for you…you don’t have to
worry about make up at home as green
face make up will be applied to your
skater in the dressing room so please
ensure that you arrive in plenty of time
as this will take some time.
Bow’s and skate covers have been
added to your skaters costumes & will
be with your costume requirements.
Please curl your skaters hair prior to
putting it into their ponytail before the
show.
Flying Monkey’s
The vest & wings have been fixed; we
have also added a hat and tail to the
costume!
Students of Shiz
Over the skate beige tights and body
suits to go under your dresses. Hair and
make up should be “over the top” in the
land of Oz!
VOLUNTEERS
Any club or event needs the help of parents and families to make an
event like this happen and we can’t say thank you enough to everyone
who has already started helping out or has signed up for the
future…THANK YOU!
Most of our volunteer positions have been filled at this point but there
are still a few spots available if you haven’t signed up yet! The signs
will be posted in the lobby on Thursday or you can email our volunteer
coordinator for more details at [email protected]

Before they called one Good and the
other one Wicked…
Wicked spotlights the untold stories of
Oz’s most famous (or infamous)
characters, namely the Wicked Witch of
the West and her unlikely friend, Glinda
the Good. The show follows greenskinned star Elphaba from birth to college
and through the life-changing events
which eventually label her “wicked,”
introducing spoiled rich girl Glinda, local
prince and heartthrob Fiyero and even
the Wizard of Oz himself, a troubled man
very unlike the one you may remember.
As Elphaba, a passionate political activist
if there ever was one, fights injustice and
seeks to undo the mistakes of the past,
dark secrets and personal tragedies
shape the history of Oz, paying homage to
the classic Wizard of Oz story while
simultaneously changing fans’
understanding of it forever. A cautionary
tale about love, friendship and trust,
Wicked effortlessly reveals that there are
indeed two sides to every story.
