Coach pick up / set down facilities during
Bristol Hippodrome matinee performances.
Bristol City Council and The Bristol Hippodrome have recognised the
need for temporary coach drop off and pick up facilities during matinee
performances at The Bristol Hippodrome. The pick up element of these
performances coincides with evening rush hour and can cause problems
with coaches blocking traffic lanes and causing severe congestion
around the central area. This leaflet provides details of temporary areas
that coaches can drop off and pick up without affecting the flow of
traffic around the centre and should be read in conjunction with Bristol’s
long stay coach parking facilities leaflet available at
www.travelbristol.org/coach-parking.
Please take note of the waiting limits at these temporary sites, as they
will be patrolled by Civil Enforcement Officers to ensure they are used
as intended.
