The location will be fully operational before the end of 2013. Continued on the next page DEWALT continued from the front page Bob Borrhello Triangle Fastener Corporation Board Chairman’s Message Welcome to the New Year! As business people charged with leading our companies, growing sales and revenues, and developing plans and finding solutions to that end, we end one year and enter another with expectations of better things to come, as it should be. In my mind, unquestionably, that inner drive for a better product, a better process, a better solution and a better answer is what defines the company and its level of success. However I would be remiss if I simply laid it at the doorstep of the quest for increased sales and revenues. Where is the joy in that? The company that successfully couples that revenue quest and at the same time builds an environment that encourages, promotes and celebrates the individual achievement of its people is the ultimate winner on all fronts. I like to think that Sphere 1 is such an organization. For fifteen years we have been a value delivered organization. We have carefully explored options and opportunities to deliver that value, all the while building a body of distributors and suppliers that shared a mutual vision and level of expectation that has come to define Sphere 1. The result of that mutual effort, vision and expectation is that 2013 was a good year for our organization, a very good year. It will be our best year ever, but more importantly, in a very challenging business and economic climate, we accomplished it together with a sense of dedicated partnering. Through the process it is my sincere hope that each of you felt that ever important joy and satisfaction that springs from a job well done. To all a heartfelt… job well done. With a new year ahead of us, I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all of our members and suppliers for their dedication and commitment to Sphere 1. I would also like to thank and commend Carol, Mike, my fellow Directors, Melinda, Nancy, Colleen, Kathy, Barb and Joe for their outstanding efforts throughout the past year. Again together, you have built a wonderful organization. Wishing you and your families a Happy, Healthy, Successful New Year! Bob The following day on November 12, 2013, DEWALT made a tool donation to the local Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) post tool in downtown Las Vegas. The DEWALT tools will be used to setup a tool bank from which local veterans can borrow and utilize tools for projects, at no cost. The complete line of DEWALT product offerings that are Built in the USA with global materials, including some of their top SKUs, such as the 20V MAX Lithium Ion Compact Drill / Driver Kit (DCD780C2) and the 20V MAX Lithium Ion ¼ Impact Driver Kit (DCF885C2), can be found at www.toolsofthebrave.com. DEWALT partners with the Wounded Warrior Project® In October 2013, DEWALT kicked off their partnership with the Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP), to help support their vision of fostering the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in U.S. history. The partnership includes DEWALT’s promise of a minimum donation of $250,000 to the Wounded Warrior Project and hiring more than 100 Veterans by the close of 2013. A special Chair Build Event was held at Stanley Black and Decker University in Towson, MD on October 31, where six WWP Alumni were invited to build Adirondack chairs with members of the DEWALT team. The teams used DEWALT-WWP special edition products to build the chairs, and each chair was engraved with the DEWALT logo and the WWP Challenge Coin was embedded in the back. After the event, WWP Alumni were able to take home their finished chairs along with the tools used to build the chairs, and an additional supply of tools from DEWALT for their homes and gardens.
