August 15 – 16, Idyllwild Jazz in the Pines
The swingin’ sounds of straight-ahead jazz, blues, Latin
and rock will greet you and your friends as you stroll past
the three venues featuring more than two dozen musical
groups during the weekend. You’ll wander leisurely along
the pine and cedar lined paths of the Festival Marketplace
where more than 50 selected artisans will present their
work. You can take a break and sample the varieties of
delicious foods offered at the Dine in the Pines food court.

August 22, Bark For Life of Riverside
Finish the summer off by fighting back against cancer!
Take your kids and dogs! There will be food, music,
activities, games, vendors and raffles! Bark For Life is a
noncompetitive walking event for dogs and their owners
to raise funds and awareness in the fight against cancer.
By supporting Bark For Life, you help the American Cancer
Society save lives.

Market! The market will be open on the first Sunday of each
month through August. Vendors will have the opportunity
to sell their vintage repurposed items and buyers have the

present, and is open rain or shine.

August 7 – 9, 3rd Annual One Act Festival
This festival is full of comedies! Be prepared to laugh your

August 1, Summer Street Jam
Featured performers include Roses, Thee Commons,
and headliner Unwritten Law. This year’s event will have
more of a festival feel with the addition of vendors from
the IE Record Collective at University and Orange Street
plus a mini Arts Park in the parking lot at University and

August 1, Down Home Carnival

August 8 – 9, 26th Annual Antique Car Club Fun Run
This fun run features a car show with 500+ cars roadsters, classics, antiques and hot rods, lining the
streets of Big Bear Village. Friday is registration day for
participants at the Bartlett Parking Lot and Saturday is the
day to view the cars on display along with the fun run
drive around Big Bear Lake. The awards ceremonies take
place on Sunday.
