Established in New York City in 1998, the MANHATTAN SHORT receives over 600 short film entries from over 45 countries a year. Ten of these entries are selected as finalists in our annual Festival. The ten film finalists are packaged and distributed on Blu-ray and DCP to all of our participating venues. This Festival is not just one of the largest short film festivals in the world, it is the world’s first global film festival, a global celebration and we are inviting you and your community to become part of it. You Be the Judge! Audiences from around the world are given the opportunity to unite with other audiences not only to view these films, but to vote for the ONE Film they think is best. Votes are tallied by you (The Cinema) and e-mailed through to us at MANHATTAN SHORT HQ where the winner is announced in New York City on Sunday, October 4th, at 10:00 PM (EST). With past Finalists from this Festival going on to be nominated and win Oscars in the short film category, MANHATTAN SHORT is, quite simply, a collection of some of the best short films currently screening in the world today. o Vote o 97% (Neth Votin for th erlan Crim g Ca e one d e film yo o (Note: * Vo-teTfohe An s) for 2 rd im e r u thin 014 d Seri o On the Bri Crime meaat k ns is be for al e d o ON l 3 fil s (USA s t o Shift (Aust ge (UK) ms to /O ) FF (F gether ra The F o La rance ) all (N lia) Carn ) orway ad o a (M ) Mend and M exico) o Be o Th ake D rt e Bra o (UK (Vote o De Hana (97% ve o Rh ) an L. for yo ) ino F , The Bold K o Ch ull Th ur fa e ris Te elly (Sold vorite rottle st (USA) ier in ster (I (Germ a ctor) O .T. gu any) o Lis y in O n the Brid aC n the g Bridg e) o Car arlehed ol B (Th e) o ONE Same rana (ON e Fall) w WOR /OFF erah LD l ww.ManhattanS ) Luqm hort.
