“He debuted #1 ahead of Yanni & Enya without any major label support. Who is this guy?”
Gordon Murray, Billboard Magazine
“Saving Tiny Hearts ” will be distributed by
CDBABY, Deseret Book, Stone Angel Music and
will be available at Amazon.com, iTunes and most
major online music stores as well as
www.PaulCardall.com. The Saving tiny Hearts
collection captures Paul Cardall’s creative
excellence spanning a 15 year career as one of the
most successful modern American pianists. As a
heart transplant survivor, for every album sold, Paul
Cardall will donate $1 to the Saving tiny Hearts Society 501(c)3 whose mission is to raise money for grossly
under-funded, lifesaving grass roots research of congenital heart defects (CHD’s).
Cardall, is known for his unique, heartfelt musical style. Indeed, his fans say Cardall’s music literally soothes
the heart and nurtures the soul. Such descriptions are ironically appropriate since the artist was born with
essentially half a functioning heart. That life-threatening congenital defect as well as a series of difficult
surgeries and heart-related illnesses have shaped Cardall’s musical style and inspired this collection of popular
melodic compositions and arrangements.
ABOUT PAUL CARDALL http://ow.ly/Axvu0
Cardall’s13th studio album titled “New Life” debuted as the number one Billboard New Age Album in
February 2011 and held a position in the top five for more than 30 weeks. Radio stations reporting to Reviews
New Age recognized “New Life” as the best album of 2011. Music critic Michael Debbage wrote, “There is no
filler on this brilliant album that has even surpassed Yanni and Enya on the Billboard New Age Chart, hitting
No. 1 without any major label support or media attention - Amazing!” The aptly named album was Cardall’s
first recording after undergoing a life-saving heart transplant in September 2009.
Earlier this year internationally acclaimed pianist, producer, and film composer,
Paul Cardall, was welcomed into the "Steinway & Sons" family of artists, an honor
he shares with some of the finest musicians in the world including Billy Joel, Diana
Krall, Harry Connick, Jr., Franz Liszt, Duke Ellington and George Gershwin.
Steinway & Sons Artist Manager Jenn Gordan said, "Cardall's commitment to
excellence in his artistic and professional achievements make it most appropriate
that he is included on the Steinway Artist Roster, a list of the most accomplished
and discriminating artists in the world."
In addition to his recording career, Cardall founded his own record label, Stone Angel Music, in 1999. He
launched cellist Steven Sharp Nelson's recording career with the popular "Sacred Cello Series," which debuted
on the Billboard Classical Charts. Cardall also helped establish acoustic guitar virtuoso Ryan Tilby with a solo
career. As part of his Stone Angel Music venture, Cardall owns a prestigious recording studio in the heart of
Salt Lake City featuring a large orchestral live room, piano room, drum room, iso-booth, and two mix rooms;
including offices for the record label.

ABOUT SAVING TINY HEARTS SOCIETY
Since 2006, the Saving tiny Hearts Society (StHS) has been working to fulfill
its mission of raising seed money for grossly under-funded, lifesaving grass
roots research of congenital heart defects (CHD's). This seed funding acts as a
bridge for this research to millions of dollars of extramural funding from the
National Institute of Health (NIH) or other outside funding. To date the StHS
has raised and granted over a $1.5 million dollars and funded sixteen (16)
research projects. The StHS has no paid employees and our organization and
board of directors functions with only volunteers who share the passion for helping to share in the passion for
