Episode 101/102 - Pilot
Volume 1
Sue Thomas is a somewhat sheltered young
deaf woman who has recently graduated
from college and is about to start her first
real job – which happens to be with the F.B.I.
Disappointed when she is relegated to the
tedious task of analyzing fingerprints, Sue
doesn’t remain there for long. A new acquaintance, F.B.I. agent Jack Hudson discovers
her unique lip reading ability and enlists her
to join the bureau’s elite surveillance team.
Suddenly Sue and her hearing dog, Levi,
are “G-men,” caught up in a good deal more
action than they ever bargained for. But what
they lack in experience, they make up for in
spirit and enthusiasm.
Episode 103 - Bombs Away
Volume 1
Fresh back from Quantico training, Sue’s
first FBI assignment thrusts her into the high
stakes, high-pressure world of investigating
an anonymous bomb threat at an oil
refinery. Tensions rise when thwarting the
bomber rests on Sue’s untested abilities.
When Lucy and Sue decide to move into
the same apartment, unforeseen problems
arise that threaten not only their plans
but also their friendship. In the customary
manner of welcoming a new team member,
Sue’s new colleagues subject her to a funny
series of hazing pranks.
Episode 104 - Assassins
Volume 1
Sue is swept into the maelstrom of a dangerous assignment when the FBI has to protect
a visiting dignitary who has been targeted
for assassination by a terrorist cell. She
learns three hired European mercenaries
have already slipped into the U.S. to do the
job. Sue and the F.B.I. team must race to
find the assassins before the assassins
can find their target. Meanwhile, Lucy gets
sick and has to spend some time at home,
resulting in chaos reigning at the office.
Episode 105 - A Snitch In Time
Volume 1
Sue cultivates her first informant who just
might lead her from a small time smuggling
case to a big time highway robbery ring –
if she can discern when – and when not –
to trust him. Myles is determined to get the
team moved to a new improved office space
but finds himself up against his nemesis –
an officious office manager who is just as
determined to make Myles’ life miserable.
Episode 106 - The Signing
Volume 1
Sue is called upon to use her skills with
American sign language (ASL) when
questioning Troy (Deaf actor Troy Kotsur),
an arrogant, uncooperative, deaf suspect
in a car theft ring. Meanwhile, the bullpen
is thrown into pandemonium when word
comes that a new supervisor is reporting
for duty. (NOTE: Troy Kotsur is Deanne
Bray’s real-life husband; it is believed this
is the first time on television two deaf or
hard of hearing actors have communicated
by signing in scenes that are then subtitled
for viewers.)
Episode 107 - Blast From The Past
Volume 1
Dimitrius faces a crisis point in his marriage
and his career when he and his family
are stalked by a recently released
armed-robber intent on revenge. Sue
deals with a mysterious informant while
developing leads to bring down a major
money-laundering ring. Lucy reluctantly
asks Myles for assistance in helping her
to prove that she didn’t cause a ding in
an obnoxious doctor’s ’69 Corvette.

Volume 1
Sue’s parents come to visit for the holidays
and, while Sue and her mother both want

Bobby rescues a woman from a vicious
attack – but his noble action threatens
to end his career when the attacker
turns out to be a Sudanese diplomat.
Buffeted by lies and facing the stonewall
of “diplomatic immunity,” Sue and the
other agents put their own careers at risk

Sue and the team receive information
a “Dirty Bomb” has been smuggled into
the country. Knowing thousands of innocent
civilians could be killed, the agents

an unholy alliance with the powerful head
of a D.C. gang – in a desperate attempt
to find the bomb before it is detonated.
Episode 112 - The Heist
Volume 1
When an armored truck disappears into
thin air, Jack and the other agents must
track down the missing 2.4 million dollars –
and the missing security guards. Lucy feels
her friendship with Sue threatened when
Sue reconnects with a deaf friend from her
past. Consequently, Sue finds herself trying
to bridge the gap between the deaf and
hearing worlds.
Episode 113 - The Leak
Volume 2
What looks like a routine SWAT takedown
of a terrorism suspect turns into a potentially deadly ambush of our people. Myles
finds himself dealing with the psychological
aftermath of the experience while Sue leads
the charge to uncover the information leak
that compromised the raid – a twisted trail
that may lead all the way to the halls of the
U.S. Senate.
Episode 114 - Missing
Volume 2
The F.B.I. team’s favorite waitress goes
missing – but what seems like a possible
kidnapping case becomes even more
complicated when Tara and Bobby discover
the waitress may have been involved with
an Asian gang. In another case, Sue and
Jack arrest a suspect – but they’re surprised
to find him so compliant – and even more
surprised to find out why. Myles vies for the
position of media relations liaison.

Bobby is in for an emotional upheaval
when his wayward father comes back into
his life with a very surprising proposition.
Sue comes to grips with her feelings for

Sue and the team are thrust into a pressure
packed case when they determine seemingly
random shootings in D.C. are the work
of a serial sniper. While Jack uses his
training as an FBI sniper to match wits
with the mysterious shooter, Sue finds
the case becoming all consuming, forcing
her to put her personal life – including
a fairy tale date with David – on hold.

When Myles’ prized painting is discovered
to be a forgery, it becomes his all-consuming

Sue tries to honor a dying woman’s request
that her daughter’s killer be brought to
justice – but makes a disturbing discovery
in the process. Meanwhile, Bobby, Jack
and Myles have a good natured competition
over who can draw the highest bids as the
dream dates for a charity auction.
Episode 202 - The Newlywed Game
Volume 3
In an effort to get close to a suburban
husband and wife suspected of having
terrorist ties, Sue and Jack go undercover
as a married couple. In a related case,
Bobby, Dimitrius, Tara and Myles discover
a previously unknown terrorist sleeper
cell – but are stymied in figuring out the
suspects’ plans.

Sue must use her cultivated friendship
with the wife of a missing terrorist to help
the FBI find him before he makes good
on a promised attack. At the same time,

time to stop a related sleeper cell from using

after con men swindle the elderly woman
out of her house – and set up a sting to
bring the “contractors” to justice. Bobby
and Dimitrius witness the get-away of
a team of bank robbers – and take
a personal interest in tracking them down.
Episode 209 - The Lawyer
Volume 3
Sue and the FBI team capture an Al Qaeda
leader planning an attack in D.C. But when
a lawyer files a civil right violation against
Jack, the terrorist could be let go — and
Jack could be the one in jail. In the
meantime, Tara works with a shy codebreaker on the case and Lucy is sure the
two are sending each other romance
signals — even if they don’t recognize
that code themselves.

Sue and Jack investigate the claim
of a Deaf holocaust survivor (guest star
Tony Award winner Phyllis Frelich) who
insists she’s recently seen a wanted Nazi
war criminal. And Myles and Bobby

Randy over the proper procedure for filing
expense reports.
Episode 211 - The Mentor
Volume 3
Sue meets Jack and Bobby’s FBI Mentor
(guest star Bruce Weitz) when he brings
the team in on a case to sting a North
Korean terror group – but Sue discovers
that things are not as they seem. Meanwhile,
Lucy reconnects with her old high school
love – with surprising results.

Sue and Dimitrius put an operative
in the field to take down an illegal arms
sale – but when the encounter gives them
