Sprawozdanie z zajęć języka angielskiego w miesiącu październiku SMERFY (SMURFS) In October children began new chapter in workbook „Sun and rain”. Smurfs learnt about such words as: the sun, rain, a bird, a spider, a tree. We also met new colours: green and yellow. Smurfs were singing a song „Little spider” „Little, little spider up the tree Little, little spider up the tree Rain, rain, rain rain on me Little, little spider down the tree. Little, little spider down the tree Little, little spider down the tree Sun, sun, sun, shine on me Little, little spider up the tree” This song were singing by the children in occasion of Day of Fit for Kindergarten. Children also continued singing „Hello song” and „Bye, bye song”. Children did many exercises in workbook witch developed their manual and mental skills. The end of the month it was Halloween time. Children met such words as: monster, bat, witch, ghost, pumpkin and were singing „Halloween chant”: I'm a pumpkin and I'm happy Happy Halloween ! I'm a pumpkin and I'm sad Happy Halloween ! I'm a pumpkin and I'm big Happy Halloween! I'm a pumpkin and I'm small Happy Halloween ! Happy Halloween ! The day before Halloween children prepared own pumpkin mask. They had a lot of fun and met new colour: orange. In the Halloween Day children were dressed by monsters, ghosts, vampires, and witches. They had a lot of fun during our plays and songs. Firs was eating sweets with strings only with use mouth. Second game was „Apple bobbing”. Children had to eat one piece of apple from the bowl of water only with use of mouth. It was quite difficult task for children but everyone had a lot of fun and some children ate a piece of apple. MISIE (TEDDIES) In October Teddie's began new chapter in workbook „Toys”. Children with pleasure learnt about such words as: a dolly, a teddy bear, a ball, a train, a car, a scooter. The names of toys was connected with colours: dolly – pink, teddy bear – yellow, ball – purple, train – blue, car – green, scooter – red. This connection was showed in „Toys song”: What is yellow, what is yellow ? Can you see, can you see ? I can see a teddy I can see a teddy Point with me, point with me What is purple, what is purple ? Can you see, can you see ? I can see a ball, I can see a ball Point with me, point with me What is pink, what is pink ? Can you see, can you see ? They also had to put toys puzzle in correct order and did many exercises in workbook which developed manual and mental skills f.ex. connection toy – colour, following by the lines. Next topic it was „Body”. Children met with Cookie such parts of body like: head, arms, fingers, legs, tommy, feet. They met such words as: mum, dad, brother, sister, aunt, uncle, grandma, grandpa. During many plays children could remember known vocabulary. We also were singing „Family chant”: „Mum, dad, brother, sister and me We are the family, we are the family (x2) Mum, dad, brother, sister and me We are the family, we are the family (x2)” The big challenge for children was prepared „Family album”. Each child had to take few family pictures and create own family album. In October we were continuing to learn English letters.
