4 5 It’s Sandra’s job to make the telephone ring and the Internet
sing with buyers and sellers. She works tirelessly to tell the story
of Midtown and its growing appeal. Sandra also volunteers
tirelessly in preservation and community improvement efforts.
O.D. (larger of the two) Nickel began
community to work with his parents,
Sandra & Jim Nickel, nearly 10 years
ago. As he was the only office dog
at the time and had come to them as
a stray, he was named O.D., short for
Office Dog.
About 5 years later, an elderly client
had to leave town without her
beloved Chihuahua, so ChaCha
joined the family. She spends days
under Sandra’s desk, while O.D. can
be found beneath Jim’s work station.
The couple also have a live-in office cat, one who had been rescued from a vacant house.
6 He’s known as "Your Internet Realtor®". Buyers flock to his

especially RealS8.com.
With modern technology, Niel’s
clients have been known to complete an entire purchase and
sale on-line in less time and with less inconvenience than with
traditional paper methods.
A member of a highly-selective national cadre of techoriented real estate licensees, the Allen Hainge Cyberstars®,
Niel is at the cutting edge of new technologies that benefit his
clients.
7 I’m Broker Associate Dawn Thomas, a highly-experienced
Silicon Valley REALTOR® with a passion for negotiating
the best possible transactions for my clients.
It’s always an honor to be recognized for the work I do,
and I was thrilled to learn the San Jose Mercury News
Reader’s Choice Awards “Best in Silicon Valley 2010”
named me the Best Real Estate Agent in the newspaper’s
annual reader’s poll! The awards cited that my “fierce
negotiating skills combined with a 20-year background in
marketing and sales” led to the win, and I’m so grateful to
my past and current clients for their votes.
How Milliken & Minnie Came Into Our Lives
We first saw the breed in a very high-end
sweater store in Boston. I could not get
the dog out of my head and made my
husband go back to see "Madison" again.
He was soon on the floor playing with him
while I talked with the shop owner. She
could not say enough about the Tibetan
Terrier breed. I was hooked! That night, I
researched breeders online and found an excellent one. I filled out an application, had a
telephone interview with the breeder, and Milliken arrived in California approx. 6 weeks
later. The staff at the cargo dept. of the airline all came out when they brought the crate
to me for the first time. They said he was the cutest puppy they had ever seen and asked
me to take him out so that they could take a photo of us.
8 Real Estate Professional specializing in buying and selling

all Other Types of Real Estate.
This is my Cocker Spaniel who was adopted
from the Human society at the age of 4, his
name was Scotty. Adopted in September of
1987 and lived until May of 1999, had to be put
to sleep because of Cancer in his jaw
And this is my American Eskimo that was
adopted from the Human society at the age
of 4, her name was Snowflake. Adopted in
November of 1987 and lived until May of 1999,
had to be put to sleep because her kidneys
were failing and she was unable to stand, both
were put to sleep together.
They were adopted for protection and for
company after my mother passed. it was just
to lonely after she passed to go home, the
animals brought me home and helped me get
through some very tough times, after my
mother passed, which she was my best friend
and during three surgeries. I have not had any
dogs since they were put to sleep, only kitties
9 Carole Smith is one of the most respected names in South
Florida real estate.
Carole has sold over $380 million in real estate in her career and
has assisted over 900 families. Carole has lived in the South
Florida area for over 30 years and intimately knows the areas
she sells. She would love to call you "Neighbor".
Meet Charlie and Bella, my 6-yearold King Charles Cavaliers. I went to
pick up Charlie and his sister was
sitting on the couch, with her head
cocked looking at me. I could not
resist. I went from 0 to 2 dogs in 24
hours. My husband was ready to kill
me. They are so much fun... and I
cannot go anywhere without people
stopping me.
10 Boutique residential real estate brokerage offering Buyers and
Sellers award-winning service, including real-world, hands-on
help with home improvement, preparation, staging, and
marketing. Single Agency Practitioner: Representing Buyers and
Sellers, but never both in the same transaction.
Here are a few shots of my 7-year-old
Australian Labradoodle, Maka. In the
first, he’s taking a bow as “Sandy” at a
local theater production of Annie. In
the second, he’s attending a black-tie
fundraiser
for
Hawaiian
Humane
Society at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel.
The third is a group shot of what we
call the Portuguese Water Dog Swim
Club, Plus One. (Although since that
photo was taken, the club has become
about half Labradoodles, half PWDs.)
Maka has been a therapy dog since he
attained the legal age of one year. He
worked at Hospice Hawaii and The
Queen’s Medical Center, brightening
the days of many who were
hospitalized long-term. He is partially
trained as a service animal. He can pick
up virtually anything dropped on the
floor (credit cards are a challenge!) and he can “do the laundry,” pulling items from the
washer and dryer. He will jump into the dryer, if necessary, to fetch a small item.
11 He has starred in a local production of Annie (a 3-week run), done TV appearances
promoting Hawaiian Humane Society and demonstrating Canine Freestyle, or “Dog
Dancing.” He’s done many personal appearances at charity events, been a “demo dog”
for disaster preparedness, and visited elementary schools to help teach kids how to
approach and handle dogs. He enjoys agility training, but his favorite activity is a game is
fetch, on dry land or in the water.
Maka has graciously shared his home with a variety of rescue and “boot camp” dogs that
we’ve rehomed or started off with some good basic training.
12 Coreen is truly one of Hawaii's natural resources. She was born in
Honolulu when Hawaii was still a Territory of the United States of
America. She remembers the day Hawaii became the 50th state
and has grown up with the changes that occurred after
statehood.
Aussie came into my life 7 years ago and is my pal. As I am sending you this email, he is
on the treadmill doing his daily 30 minutes of exercise. He hangs with me in my home
office and is friends with several of my "dog" clients.
Last year, I did a postcard mailout with Aussie. Does that mean I can write him off as a
business expense?
13 The Kathy Brothers Team offers unparalleled service to ALL
clients in the Western Suburbs area of Chicago. We know the
real estate market, and your complete satisfaction with our
service and representation is our number one priority.
Here she is! My 2 year old Morkie named
Jovie! She was named after the female lead in
the movie "Elf."
14 Selling a home "every 33 hours" with more than 70% of her
business coming from past customers and personal referrals,
Marilyn's track record speaks for itself. Ranked with RE/MAX
International in the "Top 100" Agents Worldwide (out of
125,000), Marilyn is consistently striving to provide improved
and state of the art real estate service to her customers. Selling
over 200 homes a year is exciting, but Marilyn's personal motto
"Serving you with Experience and Integrity" says it all!
My 98-year-old dad recently passed and I
inherited Blondie, his 13-year-old German
Shepherd. Quite a change from the toy
poodles we have had in the past years. She
is a sweetheart!
15 Roger is a member of the National Association of Realtors,
Illinois Association of Realtors, and the Chicago Board of
Realtors where he served a two-year term on the Board of
Directors. He is past president of RE/MAX’s Northern Illinois
Sales Advisory Council, serving as president for three separate
years.
Because of his innovative use of technology, Roger was given
the distinction of being one of Alan Hainge’s Cyberstars and
was also invited to join CyberProfessionals. He uses the Internet, email and time-saving
software to help clients buy and sell property. A dedicated support staff frees Roger to
spend more time with clients, which he thoroughly enjoys. To quote Will Rogers, “Roger
knows what he is doing; he loves what he is doing; and he believes in what he is doing.”
16 17 Joe Molnar has been involved in the Real Estate industry for his
entire working life. Joe first obtained his Indiana Real Estate
Salesman license in 1976. He currently holds a Real Estate Brokers
license in the State of Indiana. During the last 33 years he has
built over 200 homes and helped more than 900 people buy or
sell their homes.
We got Bandit from the per refuge in Mishawaka Indiana. He was a Teruvian Belgian
Shepherd, 5 years old at that time. When we first saw him he looked so sad and
depressed. We were told that he was isolated from other dogs because he was so
dominant that it caused problems. We took him for a short walk and he responded
immediately and we decided to take a chance on him. We cleaned him up the next day
and could not believe how handsome he was. Never was there a better dog around
people. I swear he thought he was human. He was smart, friendly, gentle and protective
of our family.
18 He loved to run and he loved to be around our family. We had to euthanize him at the age
of 13. He was in a lot of pain from his hips and could not manage to get around very well.
It was hard to see him get old. It seem to happen overnight. The minute he transitioned
we could feel the empty spot in our home. We miss him very much

Fletcher “Fletch” Wallace Cameron
– Born June 5, 2007
Fletch
is
a
sweet boy who
aims to please.
He is a man of
great patience
who can lay his
head on your
lap for hours
while someone
scratches
his
ears. While he’s
not much for fetch, he loves swimming, monthly “Yappy
Hour” and enjoys time with his twin sister Abby. When
he sees Sid put on his running gear, he gets very
excited. While Abby is the Alpha, Fletch tends to
blossom when solo to become life of the party.
Aberdeen “Abby” Lindsey Cameron
– Born June 5, 2007
22 Abby is a woman on the move. She rarely
sits still as she patrols the house,
canvassing the perimeter during her
waking hours. The window IS her t.v. as
watching walkers, bikers and joggers can
provide hours of entertainment. She loves
a game of fetch and is a material girl (there
are never enough toys to chew and
destroy). While our yard is large, not large
enough as she enjoys a good dig, often
resulting in backyard escape a few times
each summer. Her best friend is Fletch and
she becomes quite shy without him.
Gracie Lou Freebush Cameron
– Born December 3, 2000
Gracie is a woman of leisure. With her
short stature, she was built for comfort,
not speed. She follows a conversation like
a person and loves a good car ride (in lieu
of a good run). Gracie has a Facebook
page with friends we do not know and her
following loves her as do we. She is that
one special dog you hope for in a lifetime.
She has been through a lot with me prior
to meeting Sid, though she may just prefer
Sid over me (if she had to choose). While
she does not always play well with others,
she’s a great big sister to Abby and Fletch. Oh, and her left ear is always up, part of her
cuteness factor!

Rugby is a 13-year-old Soft Coated
Wheaten Terrier. He's been my doggy
kid since he was 10 weeks old and as
he's grown so has his attitude. He's a
true terrier - he knows that he owns
the house and the neighborhood and
the rest of us are here merely to serve!
He is 40+ lbs of attitude. I have to
admit, Rugby is quite a strange dog.
He hates to have his stomach
touched, will let people in but won't let
them leave and is not beyond giving a
bite if things aren't going his way. He's
never bitten me but everyone else in
the family has experienced his wrath. He hates being brushed so we have to keep him cut
short and his fur became curly due to all the cutting - it's meant to be straight. Having
once encountered a skunk, he no longer has any interest in chasing small animals but he's
looking for a fight with any other dog. So why do I love him. I guess because despite of
all of this, he loves me and he can be a sweetheart. He and I take long walks together and
he likes the snow. He also likes to share my food. Yes, it's Rugby's world and I just exist
in it!
26 Joan Prout brings a wealth of experience with her; a full-time

an MBA in Marketing. Hans is the talented photographer who
takes all the advertising and virtual tour photos of Joan's
listings. He also took all the photos on this website except the
portraits. Both Joan and Hans have earned the National
Association of REALTORS e-Pro designation and are

Century Internet environment, and regularly attend seminars

their clients.

A few months after our beloved Golden
Retriever Lacey died at 14 years of age, my
stepson Alex called me to tell me about the
dog he had just come across. Seems that this
poor animal was begging food at a
McDonald's drive-through in the middle of
winter during a miserable freezing rainstorm.
The dog was soaking wet and Alex could see
every bone on his body. Feeling sorry for the
desperate pooch, Alex coaxed/pulled/dragged the large dog into his car and confirmed
that he had no tags or other identification. When he got home, Alex's wife reminded him
that they already had 3 dogs and that she just couldn't handle another one.
When Alex called me to tell me about the dog, I explained that with the departure of
Lacey we had no pets and also I reminded him that all of our children were grown. I
further explained how we liked the ability to pick up and go whenever we wished and the
general lack of responsibility that we had. Finally, I told him that the only pets in my home
were the fish on my computer screen saver. They didn't require feeding, medical care,
boarding, or any other effort and that I really liked that. He said "They don't really give
you any love either do they?" and my only response was "Bring the dog!”
Six years later I can't tell you how much joy Jake has brought into my life - The best dog
ever because rescue dogs "remember"!!
30 Carol Pease is in her 15th year of real estate practice and is
currently a Texas licensed real estate salesperson. Prior to
entering real estate, she owned and operated her own
accounting service. Carol served on a school board for 15 years.
One of the most valuable skills she learned on the school board
was negotiation. She was sent to a number of classes on
negotiation and was the lead board member for a number of
successful union negotiations.
Stryker is a 3 year-old Dutch Shepherd that we
adopted 2.5 years ago. Ernie and I are members
of Travis County Search and Rescue here in
Texas. Stryker was rescued from Town Lake
Shelter by a member of our team who
recognized the breed and knew she had
potential. Stryker was one day from being put
down when she was rescued. Megan Kazda who
is also on Texas Task Force 1 kept her for 6
months and then offered her to us. We thought
we wanted a puppy, but here was a very large
puppy who just might fulfill our needs for a dog
to train for our team. We took her home for a
weekend trial and she never went back. We
were in love!!! We've had her in training for livefind wilderness searh and she was certified last
spring by the International Police Work Dog
Association. I've attached the certificate. We
just started the cross train her for HR (Human
Remains) and expect that she will be dual certified by the end of the year. I've also
attached a video from our first outing at Austin Dock Dogs. She does love water.
31 My philosophy is simple - I understands and care about the
people who ask for my real estate services. My success has
been built on hard work, a tenacious desire to be the best and
serve my clients with honor and dignity.
I have a seven year old Black Standard Poodle that is
named Beau Brady after a character in my favorite soap
opera, yes, soap opera that I’ve watched for over 40
years starting with my mom!
The reason this dog is so special to me is that I got him
just prior to my husband finding out he had end stage
liver disease and throat cancer all at the same time.
This dog immediately took to my husband’s bedside. He
slept by his bed all the time. My husband’s hospital bed
was in the family room so he could be part of the family
day and nite. One evening when I was asleep, this dog
came charging into my room to wake me. As I walked
into the family room, he was standing on my husbands bed barking at me. Little did I
know, my husband was disoriented and try to get out of the bed without assistance. This
dog alerted me that he was in danger of falling and put himself at the bed’s edge to
protect him till I got there. I will NEVER forget that moment.
This dog acts like a human, knowing every word I say. This may sound ridiculous but he’s
so smart and very protective of me. I call him my real estate dog, as he travels
everywhere with me. To the grocery, to my showing appointments, etc.
32 I have been actively selling Real Estate in Wyoming since 1988.
I have a complete team in place to make sure all clients and
customers are taken care of in a timely fashion.
My primary goals are to help all buyers and sellers to achieve
their goals of buying and selling Real Estate. To make the
transaction go smoothly, and to make their buying and selling
experience a great one.
My dog is Gus…English Bull Dog and he
comes to work with me most of the time,
and
goes
on
listing
and
showing
appointments. He is our office mascot and
rides on the C21 float during Cheyenne
Frontier Days. As you can see, he is well
rounded, and hangs out with a variety of
celebrities.
