Bulletin!
J.S. Paluch knows how much you care about your bulletin, and how much work
goes into it each week. You deserve to step away from your desk, network with
other editors, and take some time to recharge and learn something new. Although
the seminar will provide tips and tricks for working in Microsoft Publisher, we’ll
focus on improving the look of your bulletin and making you an inspired, more
creative editor. You’ll leave with new ideas that you can try right away!
NEW Layout Ideas
NEW Text Styling Tips
NEW Ways to Appeal with Graphics
•Please bring a printed copy of your bulletin for reference
during the seminar and for sharing ideas.
•You are welcome to bring your laptop or tablet if you like,
but computers won’t be necessary.
•Written, step-by-step directions will be provided
so you can listen and relax!
All parish staff, including bulletin/newsletter volunteers,
are invited to attend.

THE
AS AN
E
COMMUNITY
J.S. Paluch’s music and liturgy division, World Library Publications (WLP), embraces a
mission to serve the needs of the singing, praying, and initiating Church. While the parish
bulletin often serves as a primary tool for evangelization and the development of a parish
committed to discipleship, WLP further assists parishes by providing workshops and
resources to move the vision of the new evangelization in newer and more vibrant directions.
This workshop is for pastors, deacons, liturgy directors, RCIA coordinators, directors of
faith formation, DRE’s, RCIA ministers, and all interested in discovering ways to rebuild
an RCIA process that helps create an evangelizing and initiating community of disciples.
•Find out how to recapture the originating vision for the RCIA as espoused
by the Second Vatican Council.
•Learn practical strategies for bringing your parish’s Christian initiation
process more in line with the model of apprenticeship.
•Discover
ways to better involve the worshipping assembly in the
celebration of the rites of the RCIA.
•Discuss practical plans to create a parish culture that welcomes seekers.
About the Presenter . . .
Dr. Jerry Galipeau is a nationally recognized expert
in the field of Christian initiation, ritual music,
and evangelization. His work with RCIA ministers
throughout the United States and Canada has inspired
a renewed commitment to creating a community
of apprenticeship and discipleship. Past chair of the
Board of Directors of the North American Forum on
the Catechumenate, Jerry is a popular parish mission
presenter and retreat leader.
