How Can I Be Saved ?
A - ACCEPT
His free gift of salvation. “For whosoever
shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be
saved. ”
Romans 10:13 kjv

B - BELIEVE
He died for your sins. “That if thou shalt
confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and
shalt believe in thine heart that God hath
raised him from the dead, thou shalt be
saved.”
Romans 10:9 kjv
C - CONFESS
Jesus is now your Savior. “For with the heart
man believeth unto righteousness; and with
the mouth confession is made unto salvation"
Romans 10:10 kjv

This is the simple plan of salvation: accepting
what Jesus did for you on the cross, believing
that He died for YOUR sins, and confessing
Him as Lord of YOUR life. What a glorious day
when you put sin behind and follow Jesus in
simple childlike faith.
If you do so pray this prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe
you died for my sins. Right now, I turn from my
sins and open the door of my heart and life. I
receive you as my personal Lord and Savior.
Thank you for saving me. Amen. If you just
prayed that prayer and really meant it, Jesus
Christ has now taken residence in your heart!
Not only that, but he has forgiven you of all
your sin. The Bible tells us, If we confess our
sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our
sins, and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 kjv God also
promises, As far as the east is from the west,
so far hath he removed our transgressions
from us. Psalms 103:12 kjv
If you prayed this prayer, We would love to
know.

Lick Fork
Free Will
Baptist
Church
Our little country church is nestled among the hills
of Southwest Virginia and is located along route 72
in Dickenson County . Lick Fork Free Will Baptist
Church , the fourth oldest church within the John
Thomas Association, was founded in 1916 beneath
an oak tree beside the lower Lick Fork School . Our
congregation consists of a mix of generations.
Regardless of differences in age or background, we
unite as one family in Christ. This sense of family
can be felt by all who enter as they are greeted with
a heartwarming and sincere welcome.

Although our roots of heritage run deep, we are
spirit-led, not tradition bound. We offer something
for everyone! We have a Ladies Auxiliary that
meets weekly, Ladies Sunday School, Men’s
Sunday school, Childrens Sunday School 2 to 5
and a Rotational Sunday School for ages 6 to 18.
We also have an inter-generational choir and offer
a Children’s Church Ministry for children ages 2-6
during Sunday Worship Services. Our church
conducts Bible Study and prayer meeting each
Wednesday, as well as a Youth League program
for ages 2-18. Our church also has a youth drama
team that ministers within the church and
community. Our Youth League and Youth Sunday
School often participate in various activities
throughout the year. Many activities include day
trips bowling, Christ centered concerts and
movies. Also extended trips to amusement parks,
youth conferences and Camp Jacob are just a few
of the activities enjoyed by our youth.
We are a church that is God centered and
community minded. Since its beginning, Lick Fork
Free Will Baptist Church has endured many
changes, through it all; it has remained unified and
unwavering in the truth of the Gospel. If you desire a
meaningful worship experience, among those who
have a sincere love for Christ, then you are invited
to join us at Lick Fork Free Will Baptist Church.
