Developer Lyle Anderson Returns with Sierra Reserve
It looks like one of Arizona’s tastemakers
is making tastes again.
As the real estate market struggled - from
2008 through recent memory – developer
Lyle Anderson took advantage of the
downturn to conduct extensive research
in an attempt to predict what future
buyers might want in their homes and
communities.
Located on a 220-acre parcel next to
McDowell Sonoran Preserve within
minutes of area hiking, biking, and
equestrian trails, Sierra Reserve is the
first new community in North Scottsdale
in a decade.
The culmination of Anderson’s 30-yearplus career, Sierra Reserve aspires to
elevate luxury living to new heights as
its posh predecessors Desert Highlands
and Desert Mountain did.

a dozen different interior layouts - ranging
from approximately 3,000 square feet to
6,000 square feet – all of which feature
open floor plans. Other amenities include
upscale indoor/outdoor living areas and
what Anderson describes as “the finest
finishes ever to be offered as ‘standard.’”
Reps for Lyle Anderson Homes say
this approach was carefully-designed
to eliminate the stress associated with
customizing a home, allowing buyers to
leave the homebuilding to professionals
and to focus instead on working with a
skilled onsite team to choose from among
the thousands of high-end fixtures and
finishes offered in the Design Gallery.
The construction process breaks new
ground as well. Advanced building
materials, techniques, and “smart home”
technology are included. Anderson’s
team also supervises all aspects of the
construction and landscape installation.
Quality of life isn’t always about lighting
fixtures, however.
SCOTTSDALE BUSINESS + LIFE
Sierra Reserve is marketing the
community itself as a catalyst for making
new friends and achieving greater
personal well-being. Amenities are
designed to let residents easily connect
with each other and to enjoy time with
family and friends while guarded by a
secure gated entrance.
In the heart of the community, the
planned village amenity is designed
as an extension to each home and will
offer manicured lawns, pools, a yoga
studio, tennis courts, sports courts, a
cantina, social facilities, a dog park, and
extensive health and fitness facilities, all
within a beautifully landscaped Botanical
Garden environment. Read more at www.
