LINEAR STRIP CEILINGS Metapan Metal Panel Linear ceiling is a convenient and flexible alternative to tile ceilings. Suitable for both indoors and outdoors usage, linear ceiling systems have been a vastly popular suspended ceiling solution for many years now. Our C-type closed ceiling system consists of long, chamfered edged, roll-formed panels of variable length clipped on to concealed carrier rails. The panels adjoin each other by means of panel splices. Panel widths range from 150mm to 300 mm and panels of different widths can be utilized together within the same ceiling system as desired. ADVANTAGES: As the system is highly resistant to wind pressure and suction, it is particularly suitable for train and metro stations, underground projects and exteriors in general. The polyester based organic coating consists of 5 microns of primer and 20 microns of top coat on the face and 5 microns of service coat on the back. Aluminum panels are manufactured from aluminum alloy 3003 or alloy 5050. Galvanized steel panels are manufactured from hot-dipped galvanized steel of grade DX51 D +Z. Openings necessary for lighting, sprinkler, loudspeaker and so forth can be factory fabricated. Steel METAPAN ULTIMA® C TYPE LINEAR SUSPENSION SYSTEM SYSTEM COMPONENTS C TYPE CARRIER HANGER SYSTEM PERIMETER TRIMS HOLD DOWN CLIP I NSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS * Install hanger wires at every 170 cm(max) parallel to the runners and at every 100 cm (max) parallel to the linear panels. * Install perimeter trims around the edges of the area. * Attach the hanger wires to the C type hangers. * Install the runners by inserting the C type hangers' tips into the pre-punched slots on the runners and secure by rotating hangers by 90º. * At wall connections lay the runners into the perimeter trim. Carefully bend the pre-punched notches on to the panel when using L shaped runner. Otherwise use hold down clips where panel cutting is necessary. Sound absorption is provided by a 0.3 mm thick acoustic nonwoven fabric adhered to the perforated tile. When compared with the conventional sound absorption agents like the mineral wool, nonwoven fabrics offer a number of benefits, such as higher sound absorption, better look and superior flame retardancy. Moreover, being lighter and particularly thinner than the conventional mats, nonwoven fabric reduces both shipping and inventory costs and calls for less labor during installation. The nonwoven material used by Metapan, namely R 6/60 FF, is manufactured by Royalin GmbH and made of cellulose and glass fibers. It provides flame retardancy according to DIN 4102 B1. All Ultima product groups have been tested for sound absorption in accordance with DIN EN 20 354 and the classified as per DIN EN ISO 11 654. The textile is available in two standard colors of black and white, yet other colors being offered upon request.
