We at The Dental at Liberty Place believe that the best way of making treatments affordable,
without compromising our high quality care, is to offer you membership of our GOLD, CRYSTAL,

Two routine dental appointments

As for the gold membership except members
receive two check-ups per year and four 30 minute
hygiene appointments per year

Scheme member and will follow
stringent cross-infection guidelines,
provide written treatment plans and
guarantee all work for a minimum of
twelve months.
Appointments
Patient Information
We will endeavor to keep to our appointment times
and would request that all patients attend the
practice promptly. We require 48 hours’ notice for
cancellation of your appointment, failure to do this
may result in a fee being charged. Become a patient
at The Dentist at Liberty Place and ensure long term
oral health for life.
We are registered with the Information Commissioners’
Office. We take confidentiality very seriously and
only staff members have password protected
access to patient information held at the practice.
Patients have the right to access their records and
if you would like a copy of your records, please
request this in writing. A small administration charge
may be levied.
Out of Hours Arrangements
If you require emergency dental advice outside of
practice opening times, please call the practice on
0121 633 9535. Details of the dentist on call will be
available on a recorded message.
Access
The Dentist at Liberty Place is situated at high street
level and is fully accessible including all surgeries
and wash room facilities. Some members of the
team are multilingual and some written information
is available in other languages. We have a baby
changing facility in the rest room which is great for
new parents. Please let us know if we can provide
any additional assistance to make your visit with us
as easy as possible.
Methods of payment
We accept the following methods of payment at the
practice: cash and all major credit and debit cards.

reception.

Care Quality Commission (CQC) for the provision of
diagnostic and screening procedures, treatments of
disease, disorder or injury and surgical procedures.

We want our patients to be delighted with the care
we provide. If you have any feedback or complaints
please speak to a member of the team regarding
your concerns. Natalie Harvey is our Complaints
Manager and she will be happy to go through the
procedure with you in detail. A copy of our

How to find us
On street parking is available right outside the practice at 70p for up to 1 hour to a maximum
of 4 hours at £2.80. Alternative secure parking is located nearby at Brindley Place car park
or at the NIA car park at the far end of Sheepcote Street.
Public Transport
All cross-city services have stops located on nearby Broad Street, just 2 minutes from the
practice. New Street, Snow Hill and Moor Street mainline stations are all within a 15 minute
walk of the practice. Five Ways railway station is 7 minutes walk away.
Walking
From the city follow signs for the ICC and Brindley Place. Walking through Victoria Square,
Chamberlain Square then Centenary Square will bring you to the ICC. Through the ICC
and over the canal will bring you into Brindley Place. By turning right at Hilton Garden Inn
at the far corner of the square beyond the car park, you will find the practice located on the
left hand side of Sheepcote Street almost opposite the Crescent Theatre.

Colin Pocock and Hannah Clark have built a reputation for their caring approach
and dentistry of the highest quality to their patients.
Our Dentists
Colin Pocock
BDS Sheffield 1998 GDC Number 74737
Colin has been providing caring dental care since qualification in 1998
and exclusively private care since 2000. Since 2000 Hannah and Colin
have worked together closely on all aspects of dental care, this is
because their ethos matches perfectly. They both strive to help each
patient achieve the highest levels of oral health and tailor the treatment
to suit each individual smile all provided with the maxim of gentle care.
That winning combination of health and prevention together with
aesthetics has helped The Dentist at Liberty Place go from strength to
strength since its inception in 2006.
Colin always has his eye on the next big thing, whilst cautiously awaiting
long term research. New services include Emdogain (the ability to regrow gum tissues lost due to wear and tear or disease) and the Inman
Aligner (the removable and fast way to straighten the teeth without a fixed
brace) These new services sit comfortably with the care already being
offered; gum health treatments and diagnosis, healthy teeth, tooth
straightening and Implants to replace what is missing.
Hannah Clark
BDS Newcastle 1993 GDC Number 69337
Hannah has worked in General Dental Practice full time since qualifying
in 1993. Working together with Colin since meeting at Boots Dental Care
in 2000, The Dentist at Liberty Place has become firmly established In
Birmingham as a provider of caring, quality modern dental care.
Through regular continuing professional development, Hannah provides
holistic dental care working with each individual patient to achieve a
healthy confident smile. Hannah offers a full range of dental procedures
from simple fillings through to state of the art smile makeovers. Having
completed the International Team for Implantology Foundation in Implant
Dentistry during 2010, Hannah places and restores implants to replace
single or multiple missing teeth. Hannah is also a certified practitioner in
wrinkle softening techniques including the use of botulinum toxin and
dermal fillers to complement patients’ smiles.
Berry Attwell
BDS Bristol 1998 MFDS RCS Edin 2001 GDC Number 74300
Berry has been a dentist in general, paediatric dentistry and in hospitals.
She particularly enjoys meeting new people and providing reassuring,
caring dentistry for patients who are not used to going to the dentist.
Berry has recently completed a postgraduate restorative course and
provides up to date, evidence based scientifically backed dentistry. She
also, like the other dentists at the practice provides invisible orthodontics,
and is constantly updating herself on recent techniques. Berry is currently
studying her foundation in implant dentistry at The International Team for
Implantology. Berry speaks fluent French.

Liam Reddington

After qualifying in 1995, Liam spent several years working in general practice in the United Kingdom
and West of Ireland. Liam's interest in root treatments led him to undertake a Masters at the Eastman
Institute London, which he completed in 2002. Since then Liam has provided general dental and
advanced root treatments in a general practice environment.
Liam is very much enjoying his time in Birmingham and especially at the practice here. Liam is a very
busy dad of 4 girls...no smelly rugby kits to deal with! In his spare time Liam likes to spend as much
time as possible in the beautiful West of Ireland.
Mandeep Soorae
BDS Birmingham 1995 GDC Number 70915
Mandeep has worked in general practice for over 15 years providing high quality caring dentistry.
She provides a full range of treatments of varying complexity, with a particular emphasis on prevention
and minimal intervention. Mandeep has just completed training providing her with certification in
contemporary restorative and cosmetic dentistry to ensure she provides up to date evidence based
dental treatment. Mandeep is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi.
Mark Forty
Registered Specialist in Orthodontics

Mark graduated in dentistry from Bristol University in 1993. After working in general dental practice
and in the hospital service where he studied for his Fellowship in Dental Surgery, Mark undertook a
Master’s degree in Orthodontics at Birmingham University. Now a registered specialist in
orthodontics, he has a Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.
Mark has been a practice principal for 5 years in Solihull and Bromsgrove. His special interest is
lingual orthodontics and he has one of the largest lingual brace practices in the UK. Over the past few
years Mark has treated dentists and many of their children. Mark is a past editor of the British
Orthodontic Society Business Supplement and secretary of the Midland Orthodontic Society. He is
a member of the British Lingual Orthodontic Society, the British Orthodontic Society and British Dental
Association.

As dentists with an in-depth knowledge of facial
anatomy, we are well qualified and experienced in
providing treatment for the oro-facial area. Using
widely accepted techniques, a small amount of
solution can be used to temporarily soften the lines
between the eyes and even create a mini ‘eyelift’

Our initial consultation includes a full extra-oral and intra oral exam, small x-rays, oral cancer screen, intra
oral camera images and a full written estimate clearly explaining what options are available, and how many

control of your dental care. We offer a full range of treatments and are able to refer to specialist colleagues,
if necessary for treatment such as orthodontics (tooth straightening), complex endodontics (root fillings) and
