Aerial Photography with V²
V² Helicopters are specialists in aerial
photography work. All our fleet is available
for still/video photography work. We have
two experienced photography pilots on
staff ready to share their vast experience
to help you get that shot! V2 Helicopters
now has a ‘Tyler’ Camera Mount System to
allow an attachment of Flir Camera
Systems etc. A photographer is available
for hire, if required, in addition to the
helicopter and pilot. We have a
photographic solution to suit your
requirements.

Flight Training
First step: Trial introductory flight
So you want to start a career in helicopter aviation? Stop thinking about it and come and try it for yourself.
V² Helicopters offer Trial Introductory Flights (TIF) for you to get behind the controls. Its a no obligation
flight that includes a one on one instructional briefing followed by a 40 min flight where you get to take
over the controls and fly the helicopter. Feel the thrill of your first time at the controls, then sit back and
enjoy the ride as your instructor will demonstrate some of the techniques you will learn later in your
training. If you are up to it, the instructor will demonstrate a simulated engine failure. Cost: $399.00.

Aviation Theory
V² Helicopters offers a theory school for both V2 students and non students alike. These courses are
predominately run in the evening for your convenience at our flying school. See the website for the next

wholesale cost. Please note that the prices given below do not include costs for exams or books.

Our Fleet
Sikorsky S-300CBi
The Sikorsky S-300CBi is a 2 or 3 Person
American made light piston Helicopter. The
original model, Hughes 269, was first produced
in 1956 to satisfy a demand from the US Military
as a training helicopter designated the TH-55.
The TH-55 was the primary training helicopter
for the US Army from 1965 through to 1988
when it was replaced by the Turbine Bell Jetranger. The 300CBI is a modern training
helicopter widely used in the training
environment. The 300CBI will prepare students
for the feel of larger helicopters they will
encounter throughout their careers. V²
Helicopters operates 3 x Sikorsky S-300Cbi as part of our fleet.
Robinson R22 Beta I&II
The R22 is a 2 person American made light
piston helicopter. The R22 was designed in 1979
by Frank Robinson as a means of personal
transportation. The R22 was previously the most
widely used helicopter in the world until being
over-taken by its big brother; the R44. The R22
has sort great popularity within the Australian
Mustering community and as an excellent
training helicopter. V² Helicopters operates 1 x
R22 Beta I and 1 x R22 Beta II.
Robinson R44 Raven I&II
The R44 is a 4 person American made light piston
Helicopter. Produced by the Robinson Helicopter
Company since 1992, the R44 is currently the most
popular helicopter ever made due to its capacity to
seat 4 people in comfort.V² Helicopters Operates 1
Robinson R44 Raven I and 3 Robinson R44 Raven II.
Bell 206 Kiowa (Jet Ranger)
The Bell 206 Kiowa is an ex military helicopter used extensively in the armed forces for training and aerial
work. The Bell 206 Jet ranger is the workhorse of the industry and seen to most as the ‘Typical helicopter’.
V2 Helicopters now offers endorsements for this aircraft giving turbine, Bell 206 Kiowa, Jet Ranger and
Long Ranger ratings from the same training aircraft.
