GRANDNEW SEE FURTHER. GO ANYWHERE IT’S ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS The GrandNew is the top-of-the-range light twin-engine helicopter, with a digital glass cockpit and a composite material fuselage. The Chelton FlightLogicTM Synthetic Vision EFIS and the 4-axis digital dual-duplex autopilot provide unparalleled situational awareness and flight management capabilities to pilots. Designed using the latest technology, the GrandNew benefits from high performance, a large cabin and low environmental footprint with the attractive economics typical of the light twin category. The GrandNew is the market leader among light twin-engine helicopters for Corporate / VIP transport customers. COMFORT AND CABIN LAYOUT The luxurious cabin can comfortably accommodate up to 6 passengers. Finished in the finest interior trims and benefitting from excellent soundproofing, passengers enjoy an extremely quiet and comfortable flight in a wide range of VIP / Executive layouts. Wide sliding doors on both sides and electrically retractable steps afford easy access, whilst the extended baggage compartment provides high capacity for personal luggage. The GrandNew can easily fly 5 passengers and 1 pilot for distances up to 850 km (460 nm). SAFETY A cocoon-type airframe with crashresistant fuel system and seats for passengers and crew are fitted as standard in the GrandNew. Full Cat. A Class 1 certification (up to 35°C at s.l.) ensures safe flight to and from congested areas, such as city centres, even in single One Engine Inoperative (OEI) conditions. All core systems are duplicated for redundancy, whilst the power plant, controlled by FADEC, maximises performance in emergency conditions. State-ofthe-art avionics (incorporating Synthetic Vision EFIS and a 4-axis digital duplex autopilot), excellent cockpit visibility and ergonomics enables reduce pilot workload and maximise efficiency. PERFORMANCE Powerful engines and the high rating main gear box make the GrandNew the highest performing helicopter for VIP / Executive transport missions in both twin and single engine conditions. The advanced rotor design minimises noise footprint and the aerodynamic fuselage reduces drag and fuel burn for lowest possible environmental impact and attractive operating economics. NEW AVIONICS FOR NEW CAPABILITY The GrandNew sets a new benchmark for operational capability. Featuring a state-ofthe-art navigation suite, based on a dual Flight Management System (FMS) and advanced digital dual-duplex 4-axis autopilot, incorporating advanced ‘point in space’ navigation and GNSS / SBAS capabilities for lateral and vertical guidance during in-flight procedures, including approach operations to LPV minima. WORLDWIDE SUPPORT An evolution of the proven A109 platform, the GrandNew benefits from an extensive global network of customer representatives, technicians and engineers, complemented by repair, overhaul and spares facilities throughout the world. Level 3 Flight Training Devices/ Level B Full Flight Simulators are available for pilot training, maximising safety and operational efficiency.
