This past Columbus Day holiday was a great weekend. Our society's Columbus Day Parade Queen, Alyssa Lazzara, represented us beautifully in Bergen County and on New York's 5th Avenue. After working closely with the NYC Columbus Citizen's Foundation, who runs the parade, our society was placed with the We have made an arrangement with NJ Cops Magazine to provide our current members with a 1 year subscription to the magazine. Approx imately, every other month there will be a section devoted to the Italian Ameri can Police Society of New Jersey. It will have all the info that you usually find in this publication. We were privileged to welcome 1 Italian Police Officers along with the mayor :ity council of Forino, Avellino. The week long iNas a great chance for us to spend time with :olleagues from Italy. I want to thank all the :Jers that volunteered a tremendous amount of to make this visit a great success. We also :I like to thank the members of the New Jersey Police Marine Bureau, based in Port Newark provided our guests with a great tour of the >r, including the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, 1 Street Seaport and the Brooklyn Bridge.
