In a letter to OMJ Recruiting Specialist Anita Rutledge, Evelon Littleton, Human Resource
Manager for Dutchman Hospitality Group, Inc, said “I just wanted to tell you how successful
the job fair in Tuscarawas County was for me. I was able to set up three interviews at the
fair and we’ve already hired one of those. In addition there were three
to four other applicants that I was able to send to our location for
interviews,” she added.
According to Haer the Stark County Sheriff’s Office received 17
applications from solid candidates that they would be following up
on. The sheriff’s office was at the fair to recruit dispatchers, correction
officers and deputies.
“This was our tenth Tuscarawas County Job Fair, and we want to thank Congressman
Gibbs, the Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce, WJER Radio and Goodwill Industries
for partnering with us. Each partner contributed greatly to the
promotion and execution of this successful event,” said Jennifer
Meek Eells, Executive Director of the Workforce Development
Board.
“WJER Radio has been a partner since our very first Tuscarawas
County Job Fair, and we were pleased to have on-air personality
Bill Morgan host a three-hour live broadcast from the fair,” said
Monica Rose Gwin, Public Relations Specialist for OMJ Centers.

Great Clips for coupons for haircuts to help job seekers prepare for the job fair. Wendy’s also assisted in
promoting the event by placing information on table tent cards in all of their area restaurants and posting it
on their exterior signage.
A week prior to the event OMJ hosted two “Stand Out From the Crowd” workshops that helped job seekers
learn what to do before, during and after the job fair. Both sessions were well attended.
