Adult Clay
Mud Mixers (age 16 +)
Wheeling and Dealing (age 16+)
A class of mixed level students who will learn to expand their skills with guided instructions. Demonstrations will include variety of techniques in coiling, slab,
wheel and surface decorations. Bring a basic tool kit.

If you have never thrown pottery on the wheel or if
you are an experienced veteran, come enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and perfect your skills. Beginners
will focus on centering, throwing fundamentals, and
glazing. More experienced potters will focus on size,
form, shaping and texture, or other aspects of pottery
depending on the student. There will be group demonstrations and individualized instruction. Students
work at their own pace. Bring an old towel and pottery tools. 8 weeks

Exploring Techniques (age 18+)

This intermediate clay class will explore new techniques for your pottery. Learn to make a simple plaster mold, use slip casting, and create new designs for

Come play in the clay while the kids are in school.
Learn the basics of wheel and hand building in a relaxed and fun environment. The session will begin

In this beginning metalsmithing workshop, students
will learn how to transform precious metal into a
beautiful and sentimental piece. Skills taught will
include annealing, shaping, forging, soldering and
polishing of sterling silver. Students may choose
between a single love knot, a double entwined
knot, geometric circle top or infinity symbol.

Sterling Silver Hammered Earrings

In this fun three hour class students will learn how
to design, cut, and texture their own pair of beautiful sterling silver earrings with sterling ear wires.

A class for all things art! We will be using a variety of
media to create various works of art. Students will
have the chance to use drawing, painting, sculpture
and mixed media materials to create! We will be
working from original subject matter, photographs
and still life. All levels are welcome!

Introduction to Photography
(age 18+)
An exploration of composition and the controls on a
DSLR camera. Students will learn to capture the light
through use of the various features and settings on
their cameras. Assignments will strengthen photographic skills such as composition, motion capture,
and depth of field. Students will need a digital SLR
camera that can be manually controlled. No previous
experience needed.

Youth Perfoming Arts
Pre-Ballet and Tap
(age 3-5)
This 45 minute weekly class for three to five year olds
will introduce your child to the grace and flexibility of
ballet and the fun upbeat rhythms of tap dance. Your
child will love learning dance steps in a fun and creative way using props and imaginative music! Please
supply your child with any color leotard, tights, black
tap shoes and pink ballet shoes (with elastic on top of
foot. Class will skip Sept 27th.

Young Actor’s Spotlight (age 8-11)
This hour class will introduce kids to the basics of
Theatre. From stage directions, to vocabulary, to
helping create a play and sets, this class will have it
all for those new to theatre. Students will learn to
memorize scripts and performing techniques. Students may be asked to bring in props from home
(such as stuffed animal or toy) or wear certain outfits from home (nothing needing purchasing, just
what you might have on hand). On the last day of
class, a performance (small skit) will be held for
friends and family. 8 weeks

will proceed into the study of acrylic and watercolor.
All levels of students are welcome. We will work from
