if it’s Fathers Day in
Rockland, then it is
the traditional day
for the Lobster Boat
Races in Rockland
Harbor. Rockland
is one of the 8 host

in the Maine Lobster
Boat Race series.
Spend a day on the
water and on
Main Street.
DON’T MISS IT!!!
The Tidewater is closer to the water than any lodging
facility anywhere and for nearly fifty summers folks from
all over the world have been flocking to this great Inn
to be lulled to sleep by the sound of the tide rushing
out directly beneath their Harbor front berths and to be
awakened by the sound of the world’s most productive
lobster fishing fleet heading out to sea as soon as the sun
comes up. Folks come from everywhere but mid-coast
Mainers hunker down and stay at home to wait for fall.
This year do something new...
Get on the ferry, enjoy a spectacular hour boat ride
across Penobscot Bay and through the islands and
sele in here at the Tidewater for a cozy evening or
two before the rush begins.
20% OFF our regular rates for any fellow
Mainer now and July 1 and after Labor Day
