Redondo Beach Harbor Drive Mosaic Wall Project





display made of custom ceramic tiles.
• With the planned Hermosa Beach Strand extension and
improvements along Harbor Drive there will be a
substantial increase in pedestrian and bike traffic adjacent
to the wall.

Project Details and Budget
Installation of permanent mosaic art depictions of six different ocean
activities which include sailing, fishing, outrigger canoe paddling,
kayaking, standup paddle boarding and surfing on a privately owned 8ft
high by 190ft long concrete block wall running along the west side of
Harbor Drive between Yacht Club Way and Marina Way. The current
project budget is as follows:

The installation of the mosaic art and sponsorship display are planned to
begin in early June and will be fully completed by the end of August.


Sponsorships: Recognition of all contributing sponsors will be permanently
displayed at the south end of the wall. The wall owner and title sponsor is King
Harbor Marina who is contributing $10,000 with the balance of funding from
additional sponsors as follows:
Level 2 Sponsors – Total of Six= $15,000
$2,500 each recognized with a 9” high by 24” wide display space*
Level 3 Sponsors – Total of Twelve= $12,000
$1,000 each recognized with a 6” high by 16” wide display space*
