Dear Parents,
Thanksgiving is a time to spend time with family,
and give thanks for our many blessings. I would
like to incorporate this special time into our
homework by asking your family to complete a I
am Thankful book.
For the next two weeks, please work with your child
on completing one page each night. Help them
come up with something they are thankful for and
let them draw a picture and finish the sentence. As
always, please don’t spell the words for your child
but do help them sound the words out. It may not
be perfect but they will be very proud of their
accomplishment.
Thanks for all that you do and will continue to do
in helping to make your child’s year a successful
one.
