Automotive dealers should reflect on the role they will play or will have to play in the future market. They have to
anticipate new mobility concepts and analyse what competing companies will offer or are already offering.
In the coming years, the number of youngsters will decrease and they will be less likely to obtain a driver's license and/or
have their own car, especially in urban areas.
Consumers will always want to receive more online information. Dealers should therefore be equipped to answer this
request.
What are the relationships between the automotive manufacturers and dealers? What did ACEA, CECRA and the European
Commission since the expiry of Block Exemption Regulation 1400/2002 in regards to vertical agreements? What did the
national associations of dealers and repairers? Which is the situation on the ground? What about the contracts? What are
the next steps?
